All hurtbutt from the primaries? They'll get over it.

Now that its obvious Bill Clinton has less political clout, why would a special interest group have any interest in kissing up to him any more.

Also, its kind of difficult to keep calling on that tired "first black president" nonsense when there's, you know, a real chance of a real black president winning.

Why aren't blacks pissed about the "first black president" thing, when it's obvious that it came about after the Monica ordeal?

I read the headline as Harem is getting sick and tired of Bill Clinton for some reason.

Maybe they know the context under which it originated? (new window)

I hope you all realize that when genetic engineering finally arrives, we'll have to suffer through the first Aquamarine President, the first Chartreuse President, and the first Burnt Umber President.

That's exactly what I came here to say.

Once again I must state that 15 or more years ago the Conservatives warned you what kind of people Bill and Hillary were and back then you slavishly worshiped them just like you do now for Obama.

It's nice to see you finally realized what we were trying to tell you all along.

We'll see you in 10-15 years so we can say "I told you so" about Obama as well.

In case you didn't know, once upon a time down the river was where you sent uppity slaves to work on the most harsh plantations.

Okay, sure, but why couldn't you have told us what kind of person George W. Bush was?

chascarrillo: Okay, sure, but why couldn't you have told us what kind of person George W. Bush was?

He was a political up-and-comer with little in the way of policy record, viewed as an outsider (though he wasn't, really) who would change the way things worked in Washington and be a purpl... uh, 'a uniter, not a divider' and cut through all the corruption to really serve the common man. He also had an interesting abilit to pull support that didn't traditionally fall in the direction of his party (historically Spanish speakers, etc).

Deja vu, really.

//2004 was different, of course. We all had seen his colors by then, the Democratic party just worked their hardest to find someone completely unlikable/unelectable.

TFA: Mr. Clinton, who agreed to be interviewed for this article on the condition that he not be asked questions about the presidential campaign or politics in general, said he did not expect the hard feelings to linger.

"I don't think it'll last," he said, adding that he was touched that his wife had won 53 percent of the vote in Representative Charles Rangel's Congressional district in the New York primary on Feb. 5.

'Harlem' is over anyway.

In twenty years the only black people living there will be rich rappers, though more that likely even they will have all relocated to New Jersey mansion estates..

It's not really a big deal. The same thing happened with Jesse Jackson.

I think Harlem residents are getting sick and tired of white yuppies buying up brownstones and gentrifying the entire place with farking Old Navy and Starbucks. Harlem should never change into something different just like Ben-Stuy or South Side Chicago.

Only seven years and they're sick of Bill Clinton, and yet after 25 years of fraud and deceit (not to mention incitement to riot) they continue to welcome Al Sharpton with open arms.

So much for judging somebody by the content of their character. Dr. King has been spinning in his grave so fast he turned whiter than Branson during a John Davidson festival.

It's sad that Bill Clinton has always been this way. You no longer tolerate it as he is doing this crap against "one of your own" this time.
