this was fast and clean but the only person ive heard use this level of alternate picking musically is shawn lane(when he was still semi healthy). rusty cooley is this fast but his music is horrible.

I knew a guy like this in high school. He spent all day practicing in his bedroom but couldn't play with a live band. Kind of like learning to be a mechanic but never learning to drive.

The music by itself isn't horrible, but it's nothing spectacular either (especially since 99% of it is messed with in the studio to make it sound a lot better than they actually are)

But the content of their music sounds like a group of middle-schoolers making "cool" music with "awesome" lyrics. I mean, Dragonforce? That sounds like a children's cartoon from the 80's or something.

so you posted a 'just as bad' quality vid of him sloppily screwing around on someone elses guitar? theres only a million good quality vids on youtube if youre wanting to submit something. people might be impressed with the keyboard/guitar solo one. or not. youre right on one thing though, if its someone playing something good it wont get posted anyway so its a waste of time.

What's with all the Dragonforce hate? Well, other than the fact that they're better musicians than Slayer/Pantera/etc due to the fact that they actually incorporate melody into their music, instead of sounding like Cookie Monster screaming into a coffee can. I can understand jealousy. But this hate is unfounded.
