Did you guys see him putzing around a grocery store earlier? Is this supposed to make us think he's concerned about the price of groceries, or was he just getting some shopping done?

PascalsGhost 2008-07-25 01:31:35 AM
That's in German Village. We call it Gerbil Village because it is a big community of affluent gay dudes. the fact there is a Fudge house there is even better.

I'm gonna giggle myself to sleep.

lukepatrick: what the hell was up the bells?

Hear the loud alarum bells -
Brazen bells!
What a tale of terror, now, their turbulency tells!
In the startled ear of night
How they scream out their affright!
Too much horrified to speak,
They can only shriek, shriek,
Out of tune,
In a clamorous appealing to the mercy of the fire,
In a mad expostulation with the deaf and frantic fire,
Leaping higher, higher, higher,
With a desperate desire,
And a resolute endeavor
Now - now to sit, or never,
By the side of the pale - faced moon.
Oh, the bells, bells, bells!
What a tale their terror tells
Of Despair!
How they clang, and clash and roar!
What a horror they outpour
On the bosom of the palpitating air!
Yet the ear, it fully knows,
By the twanging,
And the clanging,
How the danger ebbs and flows;
Yet the ear distinctly tells,
In the jangling,
And the wrangling,
How the danger sinks and swells,
By the sinking or the swelling in the anger of the bells -
Of the bells -
Of the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells -
In the clamor and the clanging of the bells!

Sometimes if you look in his eyes, he clearly knows he can't compete with Obama. I kinda feel sorry for him.

Me too, it's fun to laugh at the stumbling, bumbling fool at first but after a while it gets painful and sad to watch him flounder everytime he appears.

This is good news for McCain because it proves he is secure with himself, he doesn't need to appear in front of 200,000 cheering supporters to prop up his ego. He's fine hanging out and eating some sausage and fudge. So of course liberal scum like you who is probably a vegetarian and wouldn't eat sausage on a bet, you think this is bad news for McCain and he's getting totally overwhelmed by Obama. Well you would think that wouldn't you.

McCain couldn't draw 200,000 people if the Beatles opened up for him with zombie Lennon and Harrison.

The problem for McCain and the Republicans here is that you cannot really criticize Obama from the right, because he is on the right: he supports the War on Terror, just not the way it's been fought. As for economics, the Republicans have presided over a massive increase in government spending lo these many years, and it's finally dawning on Americans that spending on the American national credit card might not have been the best policy. You can criticize Obama's spending policies, but you cannot do so and claim that Bush and McCain are somehow better. Not yours.

The only valid platforms from which to criticize Obama are true libertarian (NOT Republican), or from the anti-war left.

Thus the Fox angle: 'HE'S A MUSLIM' etc. They got nothin', and it shows.

Has McCain hired the Editors of The Onion as his new campaign strategists?

His response to Obama speaking to a gigantic crowd in Berlin is to ...eat in a German restaurant in Columbus Oh?

Really?

That by him is re-capturing the news cycle?

he is so screwed...

I love this campaign so much. Only against John McCain could we run a black guy with a funny name. And win.

And don't forget their clever idea to run radio spots in various little "Berlins" across the country. You can't make this stuff up!

That place is quite good. Even the buffet is good, and that's saying a lot. Whenever I'm remotely near the area (which isn't often, I live in Windsor, Ontario), I stop there to eat and drink.

The fact that this is big news says a lot about the U.S. media. Your country is basically grade school.

I wondered about this. Why did he say? "We don't censor questions?

And WTF ...the bells.....every time a bell rings a republican gets his red wings?
