(Some Oxycontin Addicted Guy) Obvious Obama went to Berlin because he's an appeaser, and he spoke before the Victory Column because it's phallic and he wants to remind everyone that he's black and has an enormous penis. By Rush Limbaugh   (rushlimbaugh.com) divider line 328

Perhaps Obama will be the shot in the arm that the moribund Liberal Bashing Industry needs.

It's striking to listen to those bites today and realize that there isn't a Democrat who'd make this speech. Maybe Joe Lieberman.

Funny stuff, Rush.

Has anyone said anything bad about Rush Limbaugh yet?

Because it seems like I haven't typed "this" in ages.

What a propagandistic tool that man is.

But, I gotta hand it to him, pretty witty in a sick way.

I'm pretty conservative by Fark standards, but Rush is sounding a bit gay.

This whole "Obama considers himself the messiah" thing is a good example of "repeat it enough until it sounds true". Every one of his detractors on the news, here in these forums, even McCain are always talking about how much he loves himself, but he seems pretty down to Earth in his interviews.

jjorsett 2008-07-25 12:21:06 AM
Maybe Obama is beginning his run for President of the EU. He's always been known as a guy who has his eye on the next office.

skookum 2008-07-25 12:21:11 AM
And finally the gauntlet has been thrown. Obama is a charlatan with no clue how to be President of this country, and yet he is acting like he's already President, nay supreme dictator of this country.

His hubristic gaffes are not going unnoticed, and this is by far the most misguided message we've been sent yet. Most of America is not going to elect some socialist dreamer to office. We have work to do as a country, and these kinds of distracting misfires are the last thing we need in a transition of policy.

Now, I've mentioned the fact that the Victory Tower is Hitler's phallic symbol, or a phallic symbol. They are not there now, but a couple of still shots that I have seen during show prep today of two giant Obama balloons very close to the top of the Victory Tower. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. Proving, ladies and gentlemen, that the Reverend Jackson still has not succeeded in removing the nuts of The Messiah.

Really like talking about male genitals, don't you Rush?

Why not try it? If the Republicans hadn't been such cheerleaders for the surveillance state or neo-liberal economics, they could nail Obama on that stuff, but as it stands there isn't much else left besides stupid crap like this. So, Plan B, try to make people feel bad for supporting Obama instead of finding reasons not to support him.

/Would *like* to see Obama given a hard time on the surveillance and economics stuff
//Thinks the 'messiah' meme is played out and, also, pretty hypocritical considering the source

I'd guess his medication cocktail keeps his feces all squishy, so it just kinda leaks out of him when the pressure gets too high. Hence his daily spew.

Option C: He's a troll. Fairly effective one, too.

Best not to feed it. Let's just leave him alone, so he can rock himself to sleep at night muttering "socialist," "dictator," and other words he doesn't understand.

Now the fun part: am I referring to skookum or Limbaugh?

Tor_Eckman [TotalFark] 2008-07-25 12:30:18 AM
The best thing about this is that it is driving the right wing nutjobs absolutely bonkers. They have been waiting for the big gaffe or the Dukakis-in-a-tank helmet moment during this trip and it never came. Now they are all whining and crying like a bunch of little babies. It's quite a spectacle.

I'm actually serious. And Limbaugh is simply demonstrating his power over millions of Americans who will not vote for Obama for simple common sense reasons. Most of you are chuckling nervously at this because you know it's the case.

This may indeed be Obama's crossing of the Rubicon, and we'll remember this miserably hubristic political stunt as the catalyst to his eventual defeat in November.

Rush has more power than any of you realize, and America is going to answer his call.

skookum 2008-07-25 12:41:45 AM
Actually, Operation Chaos was quite a success, and the confusion over who was actually a Clinton supporter ultimately caused her campaign to implode, as few Americans actually "voted" for her. It was a brilliant statement, and don't be surprised if Operation Chaos is again used to blur the actual Obama numbers.

Limbaugh proves again what a hero he is to the real Americans who decide policy in this country.

Even if I do feel people like Limbaugh are vile, hate-spewing assholes, I prefer not to wish death upon people except in extreme cases (ex. brutally murdered children for funsies). Just gives me a really bad feeling, and in cases like this it gives those idiots who spout "no hate like liberal hate" more fodder.

But I will say that in Limbaugh's case I think we'd all have been better off if he'd lost his ability to speak instead of his ability to hear.

The right got nothing, nothing from this trip. More than anything, I am happy to see that our new commander in chief works well with others and gives the world back to the American people, but I am pretty tickled by the right getting itself worked up to eat an Obama and left with the job of defending McCain rambling in front of a cheese display.

And I really see no reason to rate my post, I am not going to stoop to your crass liberal attitude: the truth is that Limbaugh commands far more respect than Obama, and in order to actually become President one must past the muster of these kinds of listeners. Obama cannot. Most of us are simply waiting for this election to be over so Obama can fade back to relative obscurity once again.

McCain really doesn't have a snow-balls chance of winning in November.

No, because Obama on our T.V. set, making a great speech in front of 200,000 people waving American flags, is just as close to the American voter as John McCain on our T.V. set, blending what hair he has left with the parmesan cheese and knocking over cans of cream corn.
Sorry but media is a free agent now, your candidate is toast.

yarnothuntin: McCain really doesn't have a snow-balls chance of winning in November.

No, actually he does, and a very good chance at that, even if he turns out to be another "necessary evil" candidate for many Republicans. I understand the reasons why Rush rejects McCain, but the simple truth is we cnanot allow this bookwormish "kid" into office who doesn't even have a plan to deal with terror, and the best he can do is offer half-hearted appeasement as to how to deal with Pakistan or Iran.

McCain is hardly a perfect choice, but he can at least be trusted to continue the necessary legacy to further the War on Terror and other mechanisms Obama would hardly know how to use. The truth is that he would be ushered into a bunker if another attack occured on our soil. He is simply not Presidential material.

There's no sense trying to convince skookum of that. He'll continue saying whatever pisses people off most. In cases like this, it's calling an asshole like Limbaugh a hero and making himself sound like he's in the majority.

The time and energy he puts into it would be almost sad and tragic if the fruit of it wasn't so god damn annoying.

LOL. Yeah.. every liberal network is all Obama 24/7 and you're saying they're free agents?

Barack Obama is an empty suit. He has no experience, is a virtual deer in the headlights without a teleprompter and leans so far to the left that the Euro-Socialists are in love with him.

He does have to win though, if he loses I don't think the US could withstand the race riots that will surely ensue. He has to be elected much the same way OJ had to be found innocent.
