Good thing they don't have swimming pools in Illinois.

1) Dragging your pants down is a stupid dumbass look. For that kind of money. you can look much sharper and hip.

2) Still don't think they should outlaw it, though. That's just as asinine.

It's a good thing all the other problems in the world have been resolved that we can move our world's police forces into a fashion police role.

"Joe Klomes, say the new law infringes on their personal style. He says leaders should instead spend money on making the area look nicer."

Joe.. you retard, you can make the area as nice looking at you want, but if you thugs run around looking like you're trouble, no one is going to go visit the nice areas.

Also, in all my U.S and worldly travels, I have NEVER seen one person with boxers exposed, or overly saggy pants, or with a thug look that was a contributing member of society. These people were all blights and need to be culled via sniper fire from a high rise building.

while i am not a fan of "sagging"

i think this is complete BS, why does the government waste its time and our tax payer dollars on stupid crap like this?

blazemongr 2008-07-20 11:14:38 PM
I believe that, elsewhere, this sort of law has been successfully challenged when it was pointed out that wearing a bikini in public is legally acceptable, but showing your underwear which covers the exact same amount of skin is prohibited.

In other words, if the person (male or female) were wearing a swimsuit under their pants instead of underwear, which covered no more or less of the person's arse, the outfit would be perfectly legal.

Hibno 2008-07-20 11:14:48 PM

So do when do we take "Land of the free" out of our anthem?

Um... Well, first, anyone who says "OMG body parts!" is just moronic. As for the claim that some form of clothing that covers the body is worse than another form of clothing that covers the body... do these people have brains? I mean, they breathe and shiat, but DAMN!

I don't think it should be a law, but everytime i see some punkass kid with his pants sagging i just wanna smack him in the head. It's called a belt. They aren't that much, and they make it so you don't have to use a hand to hold your pants up.

Bit'O'Gristle [TotalFark] 2008-07-20 11:17:29 PM
Good. Now if we can just start shipping them off to an island where they can live in wigger goodness, throw gang signs at each other, talk smack, and have their own private drive-by shootings we would be better off.

Tell you what: You give us a prioritized list of all the problems that the police and governments should completely solve first, and we'll make sure the President deals with it in the proper order.

I'm sure you sat down and had a meaningful chat with all of those "thug look" people you encountered before making a determination about their value. I'm certain of it, because you wouldn't be the kind of person to pre-judge someone.

I live in an area where I see it everywhere. I can confidently say that, yes, people sporting the "thug look" are worthless.

If you're thinking that you can walk up to one of them and have a conversation about Robert Frost, I'd give a hundred bucks to see it.

You can say whatever you like "confidently." Being confident doesn't make you more correct.

Whatever, man. If you want to assign "worth" to people based on nothing other than what clothes you saw as you drove past someone one time with your car doors locked, I guess you can.

I sag my jeans on occasion, depending on what the outfit, and Im far from a "wigger." As a rule though its only about a inch from the top of the boxers. Your hair is fuzzy and a bright shade of pink or green, reminiscent of a famous boxing promoter.

If you can walk up to them and not get shot or mugged I would be suprised. Conversation on any type of higer level is right out.

No, I'm assigning "worth" based on my brother who works in an "inner city" public school with high hopes of changing these kids' lives, only to be beaten down psychologically by a bunch of thugs who wouldn't let him care about them, and from growing up in an area near "thug look" neighborhoods and having my bike stolen twice (and all my friends, too) by said nearby "thug look" residents when we were kids, and being jumped twice, and today watching local news where the criminals coincidentally always sport the "thug look" and never once in my life seeing anybody who could be considered intelligent sporting the "thug look."

What are you basing your contention on?

Farking Canuck 2008-07-20 11:30:58 PM
I was at a company picnic recently and a soccer game started with the kids.

It was hilarious watching the 14-16 year old kid trying to play soccer while constantly pulling up his pants.

You should never ban stuff like this ... it doesn't hurt anyone and it is an easy way to identify morons!!
