I guess being shocked twice would an understatement.

Too bad the current of the situation was not high enough to cause a real tension on things.

Did I just made any sense writing this? Because I think I didn't.

I'm sure he was pretty amped up after that one.

Allen Ginsberg 2008-07-20 04:48:00 AM
So, after being 'shocked' and entering into cardiac arrest, what was their plan of action? Don't they usually pump you with more electricity to get the heart beating again?

MagicMan 2008-07-20 04:48:05 AM
They said he had an electrifying personality.

He was really amped about his job.

a defibrillator actually stops the heart. it's like a reset button.

He should've called 811 before he dug.

first the bears fry their balls. and i did nothing, because i am not a bear.

then the electrical utility workers fry their balls. and i did nothing, because i am not an electrical utility worker

Gyrfalcon: He should've called 811 before he dug.

He was a 19 year old working for a subcontractor. His boss should have made certain his crew weren't digging near live power lines.

My dad was digging post holes one morning, and managed to sever the electrical line. Luckily, he didn't get toasted. Unluckily, he managed to destroy service for the block. Our neighbor prepared meals for others (the word starts with a "C" but escapes me right now), and was in the middle of preparing a meal. She blew a $1500 job. Well, the amazing thing is...she didn't sue. She understood it was a mistake. I couldn't blame her if she did sue, but I've always thought that her move was class. This was like 14 years ago. I've always thought of that day as a lesson. If you are good people, like my parents, people won't rush to sue/fark you. And I've also thought....maybe the neighbors knew if they farked with my parents they would be diced up by me. I was a "lil protective of family" in my teenage years.

I'm going to have agree with your last sentence there. Thanks for playing, though!

I didn't have time to finish reading the entire article. Can someone sum it up for me in a few sentances?
