In the grand scheme of the federal budget, this is a joke. It's probably less than your average congressman spends on booze in a year at our expense.

This is part of the overall company thinking behind the Air Force... Spend spend spend on pretty, shiny things that will hopefully never go to nasty places where they might get dirty, or heaven forbid, shot at. That's a big reason why the AF secretary and top general got fired recently. Congress needs to take a long, hard look at the service that is eating up huge chunks of the military budget, but not really providing much in the way of real support to the boots on the ground.
