It had been previously claimed that it would be three albums.

I know, but I figured the typical GnR bashing Farkers missed that Bach interview...

Bach said that "Axl has like at least 4 albums of material" .. (loosely quoted) ..

BTW, Bach's last album, Angel Down, really kicks ass. It doesn't really kick ass 100%, but more like 85% of the entire song list. The three songs with Axl send shivers down my spine.

Cool.

So, how's the mullet coming? Gotta be careful with the T-Tops on that Camaro if it gets TOO long, ya know.

I remember when Boston took nearly three years to release their second album, and everyone thought it was scandalous. Eight years later they released their third album and it was obvious their time had passed. It's been 17 years since "Use Your Illusion". Like a generation. The album people are waiting for is an Axl solo project. Guns n Roses doesn't exist anymore. I just don't get it.

Yeah--in 1976-77 Boston was as big as GnR in the late 80's.

He needs to just cut the the chase and retitle this fictional work, "Use Your Delusion."

Has Bach done anything besides being the spokesman for Chinese Democracy and the lead for Phantom of the Opera since Skid Row? Rocklahoma doesn't count.

Am I the only one that went to the main page of that site and listened to the Rick Springfield song? Damn, for 60 years old, he looks good. Song is kinda good too.

Damn, you're old! I was only a freshman

I'll say it before and I'll say it again. If they kept it together, G&R had a chance to become the greatest band in rock & roll history. A slight chance, but a chance nonetheless

and here I was hoping My Bloody Valentine would beat GNR to the punch with a new album.

/MBV is far more likely to happen, not mention be of higher quality.

Bach has a very kick-ass rock/metal album out right now called "Angel Down" .. and Axl does backups on three songs on it.

I downloaded that pOS as a mp3 d/l as a single CD- it's not worth the trouble.

which POS are you referring to? Chinese Democracy? If we're talking 50+ songs as teh current implication is, there's no doubt that you have anything bigger than a tiny piece of it.

there is almost no way that any artist could release that much music and it would be good.

sure there could be gems but it would more likely be like a dr dre album with 22 songs and about 10 decent ones.

Worked at a record store. had a guy call in asking me if I had a release date for chinese democracy... his heart sounded broken when I told him that of course we didn't have a release date but that it probably wouldn't ever be released.

Oh, so like Use Your Illusion, then.

I bought both of them and enjoyed them, but there was quite a bit of filler between the two.
