I wonder if he was mistaken for the corpse.

I wonder if he tried to snort the ashes...

These comments lead me to believe that he's some sort of notorious drug addict.

Well he may still be a scumbag, but for once he did something decent I can't give him hell for. Kudos.

If he's half as generous to the rest of his teenage fans as he was for this kid, Pete must be pretty goddamn busy.

I remember browsing some various music message boards around the time The Libertines first came out, and the sheer volume of 13-16 yr old kids professing their belief that Pete Doherty was not only the best musician ever but the Messiah was rather alarming.

If you can believe it, their dedication made fans of My Chemical Romance look fickle and fairly uninterested in comparison.

Say what you want, (really anything probably applies to this chap) this happens to be a really kind thing that he did.

A name like Babyshambles just screams compassions towards kids.

Now can I have another fix, man?

Agreed. He's a major fark-up, but this time he got it right.

Babyshambles has fans?

Well, I guess not anymore.

luckybastard 2008-07-16 07:46:57 PM
Good for him, I guess, but that just means he's about 1 for 100 in PR chances.

By all accounts, in addition to being a huge fark-up he's also a really nice guy.

Does anyone actually listen to any of his music or do they just bag it out b/c he seems like a douche?

Personally i'm a fan.

most played song on my itunes is "Music when the lights go out" which was done with the Libertines.
