"The officers approached him and knew right away he had a medical condition," said Const. Larry Plummer, media relations officer for Brant OPP."

If he were really mentally disturbed he would have claimed to be Gary Sharone.

Van Halen had better songs with Diamond Dave, and that's not an opinion, that's a fact. When they became Van Hagar, their music was way too emo.

However, I like some of Sammy's solo work, and he's probably more fun to hang out with than DLR.

/And he makes some damn fine tequila.

Neither was Sammy Hagar nor Gary Cherone.

Anyone who questions the awesomeness of Van Halen needs their heads examined. Sammy Hagar? Not so much. Van Halen was my generation's Beatles.

David Lee Roth is neither a David, a Lee, nor a Roth.

Discuss.

Speculating that the real DLR has no aversion to nuts-

Not that there is anything wrong with that

I thought this article would talk about that abortion of a radio show he had. Sadly it didnt.

/DLR is crazy but damn early VH rocked.
//Sammy Halen rocked as well but in a more light rock type of rocking that still rocks just rocks better with mixed drinks than straight shots.
///Sammy Solo rocks well with any type of drink in any type of situation, espically drinking while not driving 55

From TFA: "The only thing I'm allergic to is criticism."

He must go through tons of Benadryl.

So Van Halen was right before my time (the first CD I ever owned was 5150 I found in a parking lot- threw it away soon after)but when I heard an interview with DLR and he claimed to be a world-class : poet, scholar, EMT, feminist, fighter, disc jockey, and a a couple of other things. He also claims to be sober- is it a personality disorder? Yes I know he really was an EMT.

5150 sucked.

The self-titles was awesome. So was Diver Down.

If you were around when VH was in its original incarnation, you know how goddamn big they were. They were amazing live. I've also had the honor of meeting Diamond Dave a handful of times. He was pretty accomodating most of the times.

That said; Roth is batshiat crazy and talks too much.

/but he was the man

//didn't even bother last time they came to town

A fellow Farker broke the news that it wasn't DLR the day the original story was posted, last week. I can't remember the Farker's name, but he knew the guy that was in the car with "DLR". Apparently it was really Ozzy Osbourne's daughter's boyfriend. But not Kellie, the one that didn't go on TV.

Or something.

I understand. I've had much better headline submissions (IMO) go nowhere. A green is a green.

That was me. It was Ozzy's son-in-law, married to the daughter not on the reality show. The guy that was in the car with him was the singer in my bar band.

Turns out it wasn't Ozzy's son-in-law either - there were three out-of-towners there that weekend at the studio, he was one of them, but not the one in the car. The guy in the car had the last name Kuntz, and has had some sort of bizarre history with a murder involving his wife and girlfriend a few years back.

Stranger by the minute...
