It just might be, but it's entirely possible that they're starving and toiling in obscurity under the thumb of a tyrant.

Hmmmm.......

Anyone want to speculate on why yosluggo made the link to Africa?

And what he might suggest is the reason he thinks it has no great leaders?

Because he belonged to a church that pledged its allegiance to Africa first?

But anyways I enjoyed your kind response.

I'm sportin some serious wood from the Anti-Zionist girl retard.

Not sure if it's the fact that's she's barely literate, or how her shirt is decorated with what appears to be baby-puke. Oh wiat, hold on a sec...no, it's definitely the Jew-baiting.

Are you afraid of Catholics in power too? You know, with their allegiance to the pope and all. And we know some of the 'sucking' that goes on there.

Ron Paul.

Great ideals in the totally wrong packaging.

If he looked like Mitt Romney and spoke like Obama, American would be jumping all over themselves to vote for him.

Sooooo why are there truthers at a Ron Paul event? Someone should probably tell them that they're not helping.

Typical Paultardism: you realize that Ross Perot got 20% of the popular vote right?

It's not the package, it's the message.

Bullshiat. Just deal with it: He failed cause he points out very true existing problems, then proposes to "fix" them by making everything worse.

He's a Goddamned idiot as are most his sheep.

This x10. I think many of us can't count the number of times we've been talked down to by a Paultard who claims to be more independent and free-thinking than the rest of us because he's voting third party.

Problem is, these folks are possessed by buzzwords even more than they claim the Republican/Democratic supporters are. Add in a heavy dose of moral superiority, bake at 350 for ten minutes, and presto, a mouth-breathing, basement-dwelling Paultard.

Just look at those pictures. Un-farking-hinged.

"Ron Paul's going to abolish income taxes and the IRS! He's going to get rid of a wasteful bureaucratic government agency!"

"How are we going to pay for the military and stuff?"

"He'll create a national sales tax! Flat and fair!"

"How will he monitor and collect that sales tax?"

"...He'll have to create a new government agency that collects taxes?"

So, you believe that either McCain or Obama have a better economic policy than "fringe" candidates?

What is their solution to the Iranian oil bourse, Chinese trade deficit, Chinese debt ownership, inflation, shift away from the US petro dollar, the trillion dollar debt, and the economic rise of several major trading nations?

From what I've seen, they seem to avoid directly acknowledging these issues. Instead, I believe they bracket all of the issues under umbrella solutions such as "raise taxes", "cut spending". In your opinion, have they spoken intelligently to these problems or do you simply maintain faith because of their relative ambiguity in discussing these matters?

So the Ron Paul supporters are shee, but you, like the majority of the country go your own way no matter what anybody tells you. Principled AND in the majority, what a lucky combination.

Big deal.

You could go to any Obama or McCain rally and find plenty of idiots to take a picture of.

It's pretty disturbing to see a man who's trying to save you and your family from out-of-control government, but yet you guys bash him down. It seems like one person makes fun of him, and the rest follow like sheep.

I don't understand what you guys will be doing 4 years from now when we're worse off than today, and you voted for Obama or McCain. You guys seriously think these guys give a shiat about you and your country? No, they're put there for much more 'important' reasons, such as DISMANTLING U.S. SOVEREIGNTY.

I'm actually hopeful for the younger generation. Since you're so goshdarn blind, if you haven't notice, this young generation is the most informed generation since well long before you were born.

Again, I will go slow:

They will stay with the broken status quo.

Paul rightfully points out problems and then "fixes" them with completely bullshiat disastrous plans that would destroy the economy. Just because something is broke, you don't "fix" it by nuking it. His currency ideas alone make him a complete and total joke. yes, Obama and McCain are not putting forward good ideas. Paul's ideas would destroy us. I choose the former.

Understand yet?

Super Chronic 2008-07-13 02:15:50 PM
Ron Paul is not just another well-meaning libertarian with the right ideas but the wrong packaging. Speaking on the policy issue I understand best -- taxes -- Paul is, for lack of a better term, batshiat insane. This includes giving verbal encouragement to the "tax protesters" who illegally evade their federal income tax obligations. (If you think taxes are too high, then fine; but have the law changed legally, and until then, pay them.) It also includes a number of idiotic suggestions over the year, for instance, that federal tax recordkeeping requirements violate the 13th Amendment. Nobody who says or does these things is fit to be President, or even a Congressman. Paul is an idiot.

Yes, but nowhere near the level of these tools. You'll find the crazy old ladies decked out in "craaaazy hats!" with pins and stuff, but I dare you to go to an Obama or McCain rally and find a group of guys with a 300 obsession and too many Ron Paul signs, a Manson girl holding a sign about Zionists, and dorks dressed in oversized Revolutionary War uniforms, and people holding signs that cover the full gamut of every conspiracy theory dating back to 1950... ALL TOGETHER IN THE SAME #!@$% PLACE.

Whatever Ron Paul stands for, whoever he is, he's definitely, irrefutably, drawn in the loony toon voting demographic.

I always loved the term Paultard.

Now if only we could get similar terms to stick to supporters of every candidate in every election: Baracktard, McCaintard, Hilltard, Bushtard, Goretard, and my personal favorite, Ker-retard.

/Promoting enlightened discourse!
