There's a difference?

Noel says, "(I told Liam) I'm not playing in a band with some f**king kid who's gonna be marauding through the first-class lounge, throwing heroin everywhere.

translation : I'm getting old and I like to stay home most nights now and I don't my rockstar antics to be upstaged by the new guy.

Those crazy rockstars, always throwing heroin around first class.
It's why I always fly coach.

First the article says Liam didn't want the guy, then there is Noel's quote telling Liam he doesn't want the guy either. Why the hell did they hire him in the first place then? I'm surprised, that apparently even though they agree, this didn't end up in a fight.

Upon further review, I read that wrong. Still surprised there was no fight.

Robbie Williams is a big UFO buff.

That's all I know about Robbie Williams.

The 1970s tweaked-out-of-his-mind Mork-from-Ork Robbie Williams or the 1990s publicly-accessible and family-friendly Mrs. Doubtfire Robie Williams?

I'm just glad Zak Starkey isn't playing with them anymore. That will give him more time to work with The Who, because he makes a big difference when he plays with them.

I've never understood why Williams was famous. I've never seen a hint of talent coming from him (the singer, not comedian, of course).

Well, the difference between Robbie Williams and Oasis is that Robbie Williams can sing and has a fair number of good songs. He also goes onstage and plays to the audience instead of just looking bored and annoyed.

Also, I thought Williams and the Gallaghers were friends. What gives?

Is it too much to hope that the two jerk-offs from Oasis beat one another to death with bags of jagged ice?
Just wondering.
