I was hoping for the Damned's "Love Song."

/Its been a lovely day and its ok.

I was hoping for the Duke Spirit covering "A House Is Not A Home" but this is okay, too...

"Love" has a capital L, subby.

Not to split hairs, but Captain Sensible had left the band by the time they did this cover.

That said, it was this version that turned me on to the original, and to the Forever Changes album, and for that, it's got my "thumbs up."

Ah, the sound of Dave Vanians brainworms, slowly devouring anything that made his music worth hearing. Captain Sensible had, in fact, lived up to his name by this point and left the band.

But I see that's already been mentioned.

The Damned version is nice and all, but the Boo Radley's version shreds it and the original to pieces.
