Ever heard the one about Phil Spector holding the Ramones at gun point? Yeah, not their best album either

Anyways, came to say that THE RONETTES are the original RRRRRIot girls and they rock (ed)

Agreed. Also, they were extremely hittable.

I can't f*cking believe that jury let Spector off. There's countless tales about him aiming a gun at The Ramones, Leonard Cohen, John Lennon, etc. One issue I have of Vice Magazine is all about wild stories and the winner for the celebrity category involves, yep, Phil Spector pulling a f*cking gun on someone! And yes, The Ronettes rule all.

I'll never forgive Spector for what he did to this album.

call me totally farked up and demented but I think that Phil Spector would do a fine job on an Amy Winehouse album. Her style and his ear would work a miracle. Of course, this all requires her to not self-destruct in the meantime and him to not shoot any more girlfriends. A man can dream can't he?

Phil Spector circa 1963 would do a fine job on an Amy Winehouse album. Phil Spector circa 2008 is apparently too batshiat crazy to even know that he's IN a studio, much less what to do in one.

You don't like that album? I love that album! Don't Go Home With Your Hard-On with Bob Dylan and Allen Ginsburg on backing vocals? That sh*t rules!

I would listen to a Spector produced single. I think he could keep it together focusing on one record instead of a while album.

I see Phil will have danced the screw before this is all done.

She sued him (and it felt like a kiss.)

I like the album. It's the six inches of sludge it's buried under that I don't like.
