Oasis was moderately successful in America. So when they acted like the next coming of ::insert popular historical figure here::, all of us here were a little confused.

It's all schtick. They make bombastic quotes to get you to notice them and talk about them. They purposely infused a little rock n roll attitude and rockstar ego into the post-Cobain nineties with songs about getting drunk and laid, when when most bands out there were shoegazing and singing about how their parents got a divorce and their mommy didn't hug them enough. God bless'em for it.

Hooligans: they're lurking everywhere!

Science has now shown that hooliganism is partly caused by marijuana used in combination with violent games*.
