Well, I don't know about you guys, but I've been advocating eating PETA protesters for years. Lots of lean protein there, and it goes well with a nice Chianti. And maybe some fava beans.

Oops, I'm drooling.

/I'm in a strange mood this morning.

You know, I got salmonella food poisoning by eating at Denny's once. Perhaps we should close all of them down until further investigation can be done as well.

That's faulty logic. Animals are like us in some ways and unlike us in others. I don't even have to get into your other comments because I did not read them.

/I'm eating a hardee's 1/3rd pound Bacon Cheeseburger right now.
//With lettuce and tomatoes.

I smoked two very nice pork shoulders yesterday, eating a couple of pulled pork sandwiches right now and there's no sign of salmonella anywhere.

I had food poisoning a few weeks ago. The food that was the likely suspect had tomatoes in it but I never followed up, just thinking it was your basic stomach virus. I wouldn't wish that mix of nausea, vomiting and general malaise on my worst enemy. It made strep throat feel like a 24 hour bug.

/Didn't eat for 5 days
// Fit into some shorts I previously couldn't

I guarantee you that your precious vegetarian food is made in conditions at least as disgusting as a slaughterhouse, and in countries without very good pollution control!

"It is a surprisingly close progression from hunting animals to hunting and torturing people... catching and lynching blacks or smoking out Jews during the Holocaust."

Any evidence for that guv, or is it just a baldass assertion?
...Cause it's a surprisingly close progression from making unfounded assertions to being a Nazi. [citation apparently not needed]

Suicidal Writer:"He learned almost too late that man is a feeling creature... and because of it, the greatest in the universe. He learned too late for himself that men have to find their own way, to make their own mistakes. There can't be any gift of perfection from outside ourselves. And when men seek such perfection... they find only death... fire... loss... disillusionment... the end of everything that's gone forward. Men have always sought an end to the toil and misery, but it can't be given, it has to be achieved. There is hope, but it has to come from inside, from Man himself". -- Dr. Paul Nelson

Yes, I agree. Good post.

Have the police collard a suspect yet?

My first ever job at age 15 was in a cabbage sorting and packing shed. I could tell you some stories...but suffice to say, I always wash well all veg i buy in the supoermarket.

(by the way...when sorting veg, we had specific instructions to put the good ones in one pile for one supermarket, the crappy ones in another for another supermarket) All veg are NOT euqal and veg packers pick their backsides (not me...but some)
