Peaches kinda sucks. As I noted elsewhere, she sounds like she's a poser trying to rip off Karen Finley.

Of course, I think a lot of electronica is crap. 90% of the time it's some untalented person with a synthesizer/sampler and a penchant for repetition, however, the electronia-loving masses seem to be too tone-deaf to notice that the 15-minute song they're dancing to is comprised of six notes being played over and over.

I will give credit for the video, though. It's some good editing.

Funny video but that wasn't even half a real song. Real songs have things like melody and singing.

I'm just going to say that she is awful and perhaps some of the most horrid music I've ever heard. And I like stuff like Merzbow and Nurse With Wound on the proper occasion, so keep that in mind.

Actually, I have no idea what you mean here, and I think the possibility is you don't get it. A lot of what people like nowadays is in fact a 15 minute song comprised of 6 notes over and over again. It's minimalism, and that's the sort of the point. It's hypnotic and trance inducing (the state of mind, not the state of shiate like Tiesto.)

Here, for the sake of argument, is one of the finest, most understated moments in techno.

This "band" opened for NIN a couple years back and I had the misfortune to have to sit through this sideshow.

Ugh. One of the worst musical half-hours of my life.
