Bon Jovi sucks. When is AC DC going to do another tour?

As a NY'er, often wondered why Billy Joel hasn't given one yet?

I've just been grateful he hasn't.

Uh, they will probably sell out Madison Square Garden less than 2 weeks later.

As much as I hate to report.

He's a big baseball fan and it's part of the last season at Yankee Stadium and all that.

Jeez, I was seeing a girl 23 years ago and we used to chuckle at how Bon Jovi totally sucked.

Then. Can you imagine how bad they suck NOW?

Subby is a dumbass.

Bon Jovi could top profits of $125 Million this tour. (new window)

/hates Bon Jovi

Yeah, and the Stevie Wonder concert I just saw for free in the park in Chicago would've been empty too if he had charged a fee.

/subby's a retard

Billy Joel in his hey-dey was a legend. Sure, the guy liked to booze, but he could definitely sing.

/likes the live versions of New York State of Mind

I personally think Bon Jovi sucks, and wouldn't cross the street to see them for free. But I give any band that's willing to play a free concert credit for appreciating their fans. Despite what subby thinks I'm sure they could sell a hell of a lot of tickets in NYC.

The fact that Bon Jovi was from my hometown in NJ was sadly grilled into my brain throughout my childhood so I fail to see your point.

Are you kidding? I think they probably do alright. I'm no fan, but you don't have to start talking out of your ass to reinforce your antifandom.

Oh wait, capital city of Internet ass-talking, my bad, carry on.

The best thing I ever did in my life was get out of the hellhole that was Sayreville. Particularly it's school system that was proud of the fact that they spent less per student then any other district in the state.

Christ, they're still around? Why don't they just go away?

Sayreville?

Oh Man, that brings back to mind those terrible Unga-Bunga commercials from the 80's.

Make it stop.

The Hunka-Bunka was the epitome of annoying radio commercials. I still don't understand how that place drew *ANYONE* to it. It was 8 miles from any major roadway (Which is actually really hard to do in New Jersey) in the middle of the woods and an industrial area. Exactly the type of place that screams "Party Central".

Amazingly, the place is still in business.

I live in LA now and the other day I met someone else from NJ. I was trying to explain where I was from and they said 'Oh, is that near Starland Ballroom.' WTF?

Bon jovi has been booked for over $1 million dollars a show several times recently. I wish I could "suck" at my job and make that much!

Pretty sure they have had some decent shows in jam/electronica genres over the past few years. I haven't been there, but i hear the venue name enoguh to know they're on the radar. But from LA? Thats a stretch!

Also, because this is totally relevant, the mother of a girl in my h.s. homeroom went to h.s. with jon bon jovi. She brought in the yearbook. (I think the name was Bongiovanni). So i've got that going for me.

Finally, I would definitely go to a Bon Jovi show. Mainly for the scenery.

/rocked out to all of New Jersey just a few weeks ago

A friend of mine took his wife to Bon Jovi, he said it the concert was woodstock for ultra-slutty MILF types. Yowsa!

Hell, if I could get to NYC, I'd do it to see Bon Jovi live again. I saw them with my mom live in 2005 and aside from the TWO WHORES WHO WOULD NOT SIT THE FARK DOWN THE ENTIRE FREAKING TIME and the OLD FARK WHO BIATCHED EVERY TIME WE STOOD UP JUST SO WE COULD SEE it was the best concert I'd ever seen.

/I seriously wanted to push these biatches over just to see them fall over everyone to the floor.
