Aerosmith rocked when they were still addicts and wrote their own songs, but they have been terrible ever since - although a boon to Diane Warren's career... I would be happy to see the return of the Toxic Twins, from a purely musical pespective, but I suppose I'd rather see them just retire clean and sober... and go quietly into the night (in the ruts).

I have taken aspirin for kidney stones. It doesn't work. Narcotics do work. That's what they're for. all I'm saying is that recovering addicts shouldn't be made to feel ashamed or that they've relapsed if they have to take something because of severe pain. A relapse is falling back into the habit not taking something for its intended purpose.

I almost saw him in a Star Market in Marshfield once. He left just seconds before my friend and I went in. All the baggers and clerks were still buzzing. A few days later, one of the other band guys torched his Ferrari in a Scituate gas station. That was an eventful MA vacation.

Nah, Poison is far worse, but Aerosmith does rank a close second, or third, considering The Eagles. Aerosmith's shtick wore thin in the 70s and they've been making horrible radio candy that sucks ever since. The final nail in the coffin was that gawdawful Angel song. And any other song that ends with Steven Tyler screaming or making Michael Winslow noises.

They haven't released an original album since rehab. It took the edge off of them, and probably saved their lives. Just sayin, the qualities that made them great was killing them. Happens to a lot of artists.
