Our neighbor's teenage kids once started shooting fireworks out of their second floor bedroom window onto their porch. Caught the freaking curtains on fire and burned their house down. The boys freaked out, ran out of the house and tried to leave the neighborhood.

We were so pissed off at their stupidity that we made lemonade and handed it over the fence to the firefighters as they were suffering in the July afternoon heat. In the end, the asshat kids killed their cats and their family dog, which I absolutely adored.

Sorry to hear that, that is one of the worst things that can happen to you. I hope you were insured and have lots of patience.

About 15 years ago there was a fire in Gardnerville, Nevada that was started by kids lighting lizards on fire with lighter fluid. One of the lizards scampered off into the underbrush and, the next thing you know, thousands of acres and 17 homes were torched.
