Anchorman was pretty good but most of Ferrel's movies were pretty crappy. Nothing against the guy, he can be funny but the material has to be good.

Kind of like the first Austin Powers, which was pretty good too, but most of Meyer's other films, including the Austin Powers sequels, were mediocre.

I thought Ron Burgundy was based on Larry Kane and a couple other Philly news anchors from the 70's.

The only good movie Ferrel's ever headlined was Stranger Than Fiction. He worked in SNL because his style was hilarious in small doses. As the lead in a film it's painfully stupid.

I just saw a billboard for yet another Ferrel/Reilly film. Enough already. Christ, Talledega was awful. Walk Hard looked awful. Why do we keep needing more of these movies made?
