I wish I'd gone now, I haven't been since '96 :-(

Walking around the site in the gathering dusk with 150,000 other people while ripped off your tits on mushrooms is a fantastic experience.

Oh well maybe next year.

Wait a second. James Blunt performed and people actively stood there and watched?

eqtworld: *looks at photos*

1: why is the UK such a shiathole?

2: why is everyone there so ugly?

If you are saying that:

and

are too ugly for you then your standards are WAY WAY too high

and if you are basing what the entire uk looks like just on one small location (a location that always looks messy since 100,000's of people go there for this festival) then you're just enforcing the stereotype that americans generalise things too much and know bugger all about any country other than theirs.

/thank you all and good night

You should check out the Massive Attack set (new window). Watched it on TV last night, looked fantastic.

I'm sure you could find something thaat you'd like in the way of an artist or band or whatever considering there are 472 musical acts (new window) playing, and thats just the main stages (of which there are 6), it says nothing about the other entertainments.

They have something for everyone, from Jay Z to Neil Diamond to James Blunt to Kings of Leon to Leonard Cohen to Massive Attack.

Glastonbury is with out a doubt the best festival in the world. If you can't find something to entertain you at it, it's entirely possible you are actually dead, but don't realise it yet.

That you might not like as much.

£155, but that is for 3 whole days. Starts early Friday and runs until Sunday evening. You can turn up Thursday and get a deceent spot for your tent (or bring a RV/Camper Van) as well.
