In a fitting tribute to all Nelson Mandella has done for South Africa, Amy Winehouse squatted on stage and defecated into the last remaining clean water supply in the country.

So, Naomi Campbell--out; Amy Winehouse--in? What's up with that?

Winner. Thread over. Nailed it in one.

The submitted selection was the one low point in her performance.

At least Zombie Freddie Mercury had the decency not to show up.

you know, everyone's saying she's gonna die, but if Iggy Pop can make it out of the 70s, Amy Winehouse can make it out of the 00's.

An article, with video, about Amy Winehouse written by Perez Hilton.

Nelson Mandela or not - no thanks; I'm not going to RTFA.

It was a Zombie Jamboree
For Nelson Mandela turning 90
It was a Zombie Jamboree
For Nelson Mandela turning 90

Zombies from all parts of creation
One of them was in a poor situation
Though they all came to sing, cheer and shout
She let drugs blow both of her lungs out
Yet she singing

Back to back, belly to belly
I don't give a damn, I done dead already
O-ho smoke more crack, damn I'm smelly
At the Zombie Jamboree

I know someone who could help Amy out.

Lord, please pray for the soul of this biatch. And guide my pimp hand and make it strong, Lord. So that she might learn a ho's place. Amen.

I really am a fan of hers, but this is just ridiculous. Her backup singers sounded about 8139573000x better than her and that is being generous. I'm genuinely surprised that she didn't a) collapse, b) get blown away by a gust of wind, or c) take a hit of coke on stage (as far as I could see).

I think she's really talented. It's too bad her drug problems have made her the object of constant ridicule from people who, largely, are not.

THIS. Have you noticed that within the last 2-3 years that news stations are doing celebrity news also? I mean it was ok when there was just ET but now I've noticed more and more 'news' about celebrities on just regular TV station news.

She's remarkable. I own Back to Black, and still listen to it pretty frequently.

Why is it that people like you always seem to feel that the only thing that constitutes "talent" is singing, play-acting, or tossing a ball around?

I'm going to go with "because it's visible." Being a fantastic artist, writer, or chef is great, but people have to make an effort to experience your skills.

I might buy her album because I think she has a really interesting and compelling voice. Anyone here actually listen to it? She reminds me a bit of Janis Joplin, but why didn't people peg her as a trainwreck back in the 60s?

This may seem odd, but I've been meaning to ask. Who the bloody hell is Amy Winehouse? Why do I keep hearing about her? And why should I give a flying fark?

The word 'slur' is suing her for bad press.

Look at the 'most viewed' list on ANY news site - it's almost always celebrity crap that often, you can't even find on the front page. It's what people want to see, eyeballs equals advertising money.

I'm pretty sure that Amy is on her way out. God is cruel like that. Take the talented ones and leave us with Britney Spears. Go figure.

She's gotta helluva voice, and all the problems to make for an interesting songwriter.

She just sounded like she was tired of doing Rehab, so she just played around on it and didnt even try.
