I didn't know David Eike could run for president.

Oh god, David Icke. I love this guy; he's a laugh riot.

This is what I'm talking about when I say that the alternative parties in our political system are parodies of themselves. When they get serious, they might give the 2 party system a run for their money, until then, they're just goofing on all of us for money, or some other thing that's hard to quantify.

According to Mr Icke's beliefs, the world is ruled by a secret group of illuminati, a race of shape-shifting reptilian humanoids known as the Babylonian Brotherhood. Among their number are President Bush, Boxcar Willie and, of course, the Queen.

Bush and the Queen I can understand, but Boxcar Willie?

I've seen no evidence he's wrong.

I work with a guy that was reading a book about the Babylonian Brotherhood. He also believes that the first moon landing was faked, but not the subsequent ones.

What really scares me is that people like that can vote.

What's wrong with nominating a scientologist?

So? Bush believed there were WMDs in Iraq, and that Iraq was in league with al Qaeda.

Korovyov [TotalFark] 2008-06-27 04:11:36 PM
Shouldn't he be representing the Official Monster Raving Loony Party instead of the Greens?

Gosling [TotalFark] 2008-06-27 04:22:28 PM
And this is why I'm a Green for the policy only. I didn't join for the candidates.

FunkOut [TotalFark] 2008-06-27 04:36:57 PM
You should've seen it when we had the Natural Law party here in Canada. They promised levitating yogic flyers who would use their powers to create world peace. I don't think they actually flew, just kinda hopped about sitting cross legged. Magician Doug Henning was one of their candidates.

Just for the record, I always thought Margaret Thatcher was a reptile. I can't seem to picture her as a human being. Her baby pictures are probably of her clawing her way out of an egg and eating her nest mates.

I told a tinfoil hat friend of mine, about this crazy reptile BS as a joke, and he exclaimed "Hey that explains a lot!"...

At the same time he's a staunch skeptic in Global Warming and the "Zionist Master Lie, the Holocaust"...

How can you be so gullible in some things and so skeptic in others, he's a great guy, but what a looney.

ZeroCorpse [recently expired TotalFark] 2008-06-27 06:26:13 PM
Hmm. He sounds marginally more sane than Ron Paul.

Remove all Republicans: mattbin: So? Bush believed told everyone there were WMDs in Iraq, and that Iraq was in league with al Qaeda.

You actually think he believed that nonsense? He (or at least Cheney) knew the truth.

Oh jesus. There is no hope for us as long as we have this partisan stupidity. I'm serious.

Reptiles? In my Queen?

It's more likely than you think.
