Last time in Disney Land, my girlfriend at the time and I did the "Disney Breakfast" thing, where you get served by folks in different Disney character attire. We got Alice... She was so far beyond hot it was hard not to stare mindlessly. I don't know where they found this woman, but she looked like they peeled her right from the ink soaked frames of the movie.

/Oh, and the video was neat too
//Could have used a few more scenes
///And a few less repeats

I don't think it's half bad for what it is. Most producers don't go near a Disney movie for fear of being sued off the face of the earth. I can think of a lot of old Disney movies that would be a wealth of sample food. It'll just never happen, or just be some 3 minute internet loopadelica.

I used to have an old, horribly scratchy collection of Disney on vinyl. The perfect source material for Burial/Pole/Rapoon/Gas/etc. madness. Too bad I had to get rid of them.

Kinda repetitive.

Pretty good for a new creation. Relaxing, trippy, new song.
Nice.
To others who say it's repetitive: yes, it's got loops of audio and video, but the style of the song pretty much dictates that it have loops. Listen to most other music of that particular style and you'll hear loops and repitition also. It is what it is.

Kinda catchy...way too repetitive.

Not nearly as good as Alice On The Wall. Link (new window)

You can have a song with a lot less than that.

Indeed. It saddens me when people don't 'get' minimalism, as I love it myself. There's always been something really entrancing about simplistic melodies that gradually flow and change subtly as they go along.

It's led tosome of the most beautiful music ever composed. (pops)

Little Alice, is on drugs again... they've bent her little mind.

Boogaloo Shrimp 2008-06-28 10:32:57 AM
great idea, it sounds like matthew herbert or cornelius; it's quite good.

Fedaykin 2008-06-28 02:13:01 PM
The words are spliced from Alice's song:
"I often give myself very good advice
but I very seldom follow it
that explains the trouble that I'm always in.
Be patient is very good advice
but the waiting makes me curious
and I'd love the change, should something strange begin.
" ...

Put together here, it's pretty much:
"Very seldom follow it love the change the trouble"
with the beginnings and ends of some words cut.

And now you know.

darthaegis 2008-06-28 05:11:18 PM
