Yeah ... the SFW "MTV Halloween" special.

Google/You Tube "Zappa Sweded 1973" or "Stockholm 1973" for THE LITTLE WAZOO lineup, the best Zappa lineup ever!

Partial lineup here:

MONTANA at THE ROXY (new window)

That's "Sweden", not Sweded

From the first album I bought with my own money, I prefer Wild love and Yo Mama from side 4.

Any one else think that Adrian Belew's Dylan imperession/impersonation on the original album version of "Flakes" is freakin' great / nearly spot on?

Thanks. I need to have some Zappa DVDs in my collection. I have just about all of the albums. Saw Zappa plays Zappa last year. That was pretty cool.

First time I heard that outside of the Sheik Yerbouti album.

I used to think that it actually was Dylan until a few years ago.

Wanna buy some mandies, Bob?

Belew should have done Dylan impressions with Crimson - or maybe not.

the trend of posting the most horrible video choices continues. this has got to be one of the worst frank songs ever and of all years-81?!

Gotta disagree with you there, mahavish-Lou.

I saw every Washington / Baltimore area Zappa concert from the petite wazoo band in 1972 ... up to and including BSO conductor David Zinman's tribute at the Meyerhoff just a week after Zappa's passing in 1993. At the time of Frank's unfortunate demise, I had all of his albums too.

As well as being musically AND technically brilliant, the Roxy album captured a Zappa concert exceptionally well. The small, fuzzy, modulated youtube video? For what it is, it's worth the price of admission....

As for the '81 lineup -- Zappa never appeared with a bad band, my friend.

/a fan
