Should have beat his ass on stage in front of everyone if this is really the case.

Well I think he started to and security intervened. Watch the video.

Props to Mr McGraw for promptly dealing with that asshole.

I was at an Iron Maiden show in Tacoma in 2000 where some guy was hitting people in the crowd. Bruce Dickinson stopped singing in the middle of the song and went apeshiat on the dude.

Not a big fan of his music, but this is very cool.

Sometimes you just have to stop shiat that is simply unacceptable. What the man did was simply unacceptable, and Mr. McGraw put a stop to it, as any honorable man would.

He damn near did. If you watch it, he cocks his arm back like he's just about to slug the guy in the teeth. Security hauled him off before it could happen, sadly.

Nope...its reasonable. Tim McGraw restrained and had him escorted out without undue force...or undue dramatics.

lexnaturalis 2008-06-25 08:19:59 PM
Good for him. He really should have punched him in the face. Too bad security took him away before that could happen.

mrEdude 2008-06-25 08:20:36 PM
I'm sure I can't stand most of his music, based on thin evidence, but that was cool that he dove in and practically seamlessly tossed the dude out, with some help. Band kept playing, musta been pretty cool to watch live.

I wouldnt be scared of bruce dikinson anywhere, Im sure he felt quite a bit braver knowing he had his security to back him up.

I'm guessing that Timmay wouldn't have been so macho if he didn't have a) security and all those fans around.

Still good for him.

Saw it. Security be damned. There are few things that I cannot forgive. A man raising his hand to a woman is one of those things.

SlothB77 2008-06-25 09:52:20 PM
I may drink too much and play too loud
Hang out with a rough and rowdy crowd
That don't mean I don't respect
My Mama or my Uncle Sam
Yes sir, yes ma'am
I may be a real bad boy
But baby I'm a real good man

I might have a reckless streak
At least a country-mile wide
If you're gonna run with me
It's gonna be a wild ride
When it comes to loving you
I've got velvet hands
I'll show you how a real bad boy
Can be a real good man

srtpointman 2008-06-25 09:56:42 PM
And that douchebag was waving his hat around while security dragged him out like he was some sort of farking hero. Takes a real bad ass to hit a woman, God damned pussy.

I see why they're still married! :D

/I'd SO be willin' to catfight her for a three-way with them both now...what a gentleman!

Pr1nc3ss 2008-06-25 10:12:27 PM
It's good to know there are still men out there who would still not raise their hand to a woman. It seems like in the last 5 years, it's become more and more common to make excuses for a man hitting a woman.

Tim McGraw has earned my respect.
Now go make some good music, something non country and untwangy.

productiveslacker 2008-06-25 10:49:28 PM
I've met Tim McGraw on a couple of occasions, and he's big enough I wouldn't provoke him. I think he could have took him.

I've gotten to meet Mrs. Tim McGraw, and, all I can saw is, wow.

Man, I love how the band always keeps playing during shiat like this.

Satanic_Hamster 2008-06-25 11:35:40 PM
I was at a ZZ Top concert in Jacksonville, Florida, in the early 90's, with Slaughter as the opening act.

About five rows in front of me, about ten bikers got into a big brawl. Punches being thrown, people being tossed, fight was moving towards me real quick. I had no where to go and I thought I was going to get screwed.

Turns out, the three rows ahead of me? All fifty or so of the people in those rows turned out to be an entire shift of prison guards and a few county sheriff officers. Soon as the fight reached their row, it ENDED in seconds, with all the bikers having their faces shoved into the ground. Security's reaction, "Wait, what are WE doing here? They took our jeorbs!"

Dear Jerk 2008-06-25 11:40:19 PM

Yeah, but just think if it had been THE Bruce Dickinson. Would've gone upside the dude's head like hitting a cowbell.

WOW I've seen him in concert, (my wife dragged me there) And I do like some of his music. But that video earned my respect. Were I in his shoes I would have clocked that fat areshole! And Belive me Tim could've wiped the floor with that guy. He showed tremendous restraint. At least now I know we have one thing in common, You don't ever hit a woman. I just wonder if he said anything after the fact. At least if he gets sued, the video is there to back him up.

I was in a bar with my sister and her boyfriend, in Miami County, Ohio. My sister and her boyfriend got in a fight. He started slapping her around, so I cleaned his clock. The cops came, arrested me, charged me with assualt, and I had to go to court. My sister wouldnt testify on my behalf. Regardless, I was convicted, had to pick up trash and pee in a cup for six months. I asked the Judge what I should do, she replied....

"call the police and stay out of it until they arrive."

Moral of the story, if you see someone beating the shiat out of their old lady, stay out of it. She wont thank you, and the cops wont take your side. Let him beat the dumb biatch to death.

Lemme say....

In 96 as a young chap, i walked in on my cousin being forcibly restrained by her drunk boyfriend. Not being blessed with particular size or fighting skills I grabbed the nearest item, a frying pan, and beat him severely.

Now, my cousin stuck up for me, but I still spent a short amount of time in jail and spent even more time doing community service.

/He is partially blind in one of his eyes, and has a chipped vertebrae in his neck from the beating.
//Would do it again without question

sje1978 2008-06-26 10:43:08 AM
This reminds me of another story too, this happened more recently.

My brother, who lives in NYC was in a car with my parents when the witnessed a woman being forced into a car by a man. My brother, being the tough guy he is, jumped out of the car to intervene. As he got close enought, the guy backed off, probably scared of what was to come. As my brother turned to the woman to see if she was ok, she decked him with one shot. They both ran off leaving my brother on the sidewalk with a shattered cheek.\

/you never know what will happen or who you are farking with.

McGraw is the epitome of why so many people hate country music. Stupid hat, and a weak/thin voice. Horribly overrated. Superstar? Meh.

I saw them about a month before you in Scranton. Bruce got all cranky on someone in the audience that was throwing shiat on stage. I think the crowd "took care" of the problem though. Luckily Bruce didn't have a case of the cranky when I saw him in Homdel, NJ 2 weeks ago.

Tim McGraw is well known to being an arrogant jerk. I wonder if Mr. Macho would be so tough without his security team. Take off your little boots and cowboy hat and button up your shirt.

The guy willingly got up on the stage (albeit with some effort). I don't think he really knew he was being kicked out until that moment where security had to restrain him and singy-mchat pretended he was going to punch him.
