wow, why is ice T giving Soulja boy all this free publicity? how nice of him

the_be_sharps [TotalFark] 2008-06-25 08:56:03 PM
I worked as an audio engineer at the last Soulja Boy show in town. Nothing but little kids in the audience. He must be doing something right. As a bonus, one of the opening acts sampled heavily from "The Final Countdown." Couldn't help but think of TMLO. I actually took a short video of that tune and keep it in my private stash.

He actually has a good point. It is sad that Ice T has to be to the one that says it.

Ice T is right, how can anyone be on SB's side? This is old anyway, cause Soulja Boy already released some gay cartoon dissing this video. SB is a little biatch with no respect for the hip-hop culture, he is just raping it for riches.

Don't believe the hype.

This video was in the Boobies anyway. I want to see Ice's response to that cartoon.

If it's two taps to the chest and one to the head, I will not complain.

Soulja Boy should have left it at that and been done with it. That cartoon is downright insulting. It would be beneath Ice T to even respond at this point, but there's going to be a response. I have no doubt about that.

Soulja Boy is pissing off some old school homies. It wouldn't surprise me to hear of his untimely death before summer is over.

Soulja Boy is signed to 50 cent... who loves beef so if it gets too much for soulja boy thingajaming 50 cent will step in ... and it will get downright lame asap style

Soulja Boy is with Collipark, not 50. 50 is just backing this clown up so he can ride his current popularity. It probably also has to do with GZA dissing the shiat of Soulja Boy and then 50 Cent in the same concert.

LOL that video was done by a couple of producers that are best known for their lil wayne parodies. Link (new window) Personally I thought it was pretty funny up until the last few mins which I thought were riffin on Young Buck's crying over the phone, but they missed the punchline ("A nubian just get confused sometimes")

Ice T is a fool for trying to go at a 17 year old dance-rapper seriously like this. I tend to agree with what he's saying about the kids music but this is nothing but free publicity for Soulja Boy. You could drop Ether 2008 on the kid and he'd just come back and call you an old ass nubian. It's obvious from his music that he doesn't take any of this seriously so there's no ends in attacking him seriously. Let things run their course and he'll be irrelevant in 6 months.

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener [TotalFark] 2008-06-25 11:57:45 PM
Ice-T *did* provide two great rap songs for Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo... so there is that...

the_be_sharps: As a bonus, one of the opening acts sampled heavily from "The Final Countdown." Couldn't help but think of TMLO.

I can't imagine why. (pops)

I listen to so little rap that I can't even remember which "Ice" is on friggin' Law and Order, and even *I* know that Souljs Boy sucks.

In the inevitable fight, my money is on Ice-T.

Punkass kid poser would have no chance.

Davescookies 2008-06-26 01:56:10 AM
I can only hope that this culminates in a good old-fashioned rap battle. Can you imagine how much a wordsmith like Ice T would own that little douche who probably doesn't even write his own rhymes?

mandingueiro 2008-06-26 02:25:07 AM
hey guys, soulja boy is a kid. a kid with a dance move. period. like ice t said when he told SB to eat a dick: "get yo money".

I like Ice-T better on Law & Order when he speaks as not to scare the white folk.

Madbassist1 [TotalFark] 2008-06-26 08:52:43 AM
I guess nobody bothered to consider that ICE-T is working with this kid? Seriously, why would he even bother? When was the last time he released an album? What do they have in common? Oh yeah, white suburban yuppies. Think people!

The best version of any "Soulja Boy"'s songs. I watched it yesterdady when another thread reminded me of it.

These "wars" are retarded. Ice-T and Soulja Boy are two completely different kinds of music.

Ice-T was against the system, a lot of his lyrics dealing with real life.

Soulja Boy produces drum beats and sing song choruses for people to dance to at the club.

Absolutely no correlation.

So Soulja Boy is the Britney Spears of rap?

Ice-T is my new hero.

F*ck Soulja Boy and the drooling cretins who listen to that shiat.

/glad to see the veterans finally publicly ripping this no-talent bag of pre-pubescent douche shiat.

Respect yo' elders, nubian.

Well said, Ice-T, although I have to say this has been a problem with the genre for a long time.

It took something as terrible as Soulja Boy to spark this guy.

Listen to the interview on youtube with Snoop. He rips him a new one, too.

/and check out Soulja Boy's "Thanksgiving Fun" video on YouTube if you're not 100% convinced the end of humanity is near
//I'll sponsor someone if they can decipher just what the f*ck Soulja Boy is saying in the first 20 seconds of that vid

The best thing about soulja boy is that the caca-man decided to do a shiatty parody of Superman, namely, a tune called Caca-Man.

Cacaman's version is SO much better than Soulja boys. Caca shiats all over that song. What a piece of shiat that song is.

It's the best dis of Soulja boy ever.
