Am I the only one who sees a direct correlation between one pound of moon pie being considered a "serving" and obesity in Bell Buckle, TN?

/hopes that's diet RC Cola they're drinking

We can land a man on a moon pie but we can't stop these festivals from happening? America is doomed.

The giant marshmallow and graham cracker treat will feed between 100 and 150 people and will be eaten in about five minute

Five minute whats? Five minute tents? Five minute bowler derbies? The article left me hanging!

You know, being from the Appalachian bits of northern Georgia, I'm about as 'suthun' as it gets, and I really have to say, if it came down to eating a moon pie or eating ants, ants have this nice tartness, sort of like eating an unflavored SweetTart, and are nutritious.

Moon Pies, well, they should be added to the Gitmo torture suite. Along with Royal Crown Cola. And YooHoo.

/"So, Achmed, tell me of your plans - or it's Banana Moon Pie for you for lunch - again"

Maybe all the workers from the Moon Pie plant look like that, sort of like Oompa-Loopas.

Bucksnort, TN
Skullbone, TN
Frogjump, TN
Idlewild, TN

/Sadly, I've been to all four.

Is it ironic that I'm being unoriginal in making fun of your unoriginality?

Oh, and Vandy used to hold their summer workouts in Bell Buckle. The coaches would make them run the last few miles to the facilities. Maybe that's why they were so horrible back then - they just never recovered.

A moonpie that size is going to make it awful hard to eat it under the trailer.

Most of the convenience stores in Bucksnort are Adult product shops...

//been by Bucksnort a buncha times.

this x1,000,000. I'd gladly start drinking colas again if Cheerwine was readily available where I am, I just haven't seen it here in Nashville.

/I do drink cola if it happens to be in my whiskey, but that's about it.

I'm with Leopard here, I don't think there is a convenient store in Bucksnort anymore. Just some adult shops and a small diner I think.

/and lot lizards
//probably
