That's the band I remember.

Heh. It's almost the band of 2007 from the associated videos. Everyone looks a bit worse for wear but the sound is still there.

Blue eyed murder in a size 5 dress.

Good thing Dave the dildo missed his entry, drops a lot of lines, and cuts everything off because he's out of breath. That added a lot to the overall effect. Eddie fixes it, then plays a solo that's not right off the record while Mike, probably too drunk to know where he is, manages to make it look like everyone is having fun.

Did they get a 7th grade cheerleader to fill in for dave at the end?

on the plus side, I can now verify that Dave is, in fact, Jewish

God how far they've fallen to just a Vegas act. Compare that clip to this one (new window).

Too lazy to look up his name, but I really liked maidens first singer's voice. murders in the rue morgue is one of my favorite pre-dickinson songs.

Oh yeah, and steve harris. Awesome bass player.

Paul Di'Anno was the singers name, and yeah he had a good voice that fit with the "punk" feel that the first two Iron Maiden albums had. He did some things outside of Maiden and even covered Maiden songs on some Maiden tribute albums.

One thing I've loved about bands like Iron Maiden and Van Halen is that even they switched singers, the music was still great and fit in with the voices of the singers (lone exception being VHIII... wtf were they thinking?)

I disagree, VHIII wasn't really that bad. Not their best, but possibly better than OU812.

Oh god no, VHIII was a horrible album quite possibly the worst the 90s by any major band.

Iron Maiden is good but in terms of shows, early VH blows them away

Dunno, dude. Iron Maiden's current world tour is one hell of a show.

im not the biggest VH fan(love alot of the songs, hate almost all the guitar solos), but 'unchained'? i cant understand the fascination with that song, especially with all the other great ones on that record. its one of the only ones i always have to skip. linked from the same post up there is THIS which is way cooler.

'81 Oakland complete is like the Holy Grail for VH fans. It must exist, but where?
