Good. That "let's nominate everything from Enchanted" shiat from last year sucked, even though the best song did win.

/even though the film it represented didn't win Best Picture or was a nominee, as it should've been

Oh good, that's almost interesting!

Now they need to do away with the rules that excluded Jonny Greenwood and Eddie Vedder from the award and they may have a good show.

It would depend on what songs you're talking about when it comes to Vedder; "Hard Sun", for example, is a cover.

Fine, I was just looking for anything to replace the Disney songs. And you smell.

This means that they will win more. It is good for Disney. They were poaching their own voters and did not win when they had 3 songs. Neither did Dreamgirls.

Yeah, fark the Oscars, their completely arbitrary rules and their self-congratulating, masturbatory meaninglessness. The only difference between awards shows like this and some unwashed blogger's "top 10" list is the shamefully expensive spectacle that is put on.

Example of the capriciousness: Best actor and actress in different categories. Why? Are women so much better than men at acting that they can't even compete in the same category? Or vice versa? What a ridiculous farce.

disney hasn't won an oscar for Best Score (which is what Greenwood would have been competing for) since 1995

i think i may just have to pop in ye olde blood now... after king of the hill

/yeah i'm pretty much being an ass now just to be an ass
//since you said i smell
