I'm sure McCain is just dying to get the support of a man who served to disgrace in the two most corrupt administrations in history.

McCain must be one of those known unknowns.

You go to the election with the candidate you have, not the candidate you wish you had.

Rummy of course, Bush only served in one of the most corrupt administrations in American history.

Donnie was a Nixon staffer. Dick was one too for that matter. Why do you think the Bush II administration has essentially seemed like a repeat of the executive as king power grab of the late Nixon administration? Because the same people who were behind Nixon run the Bush white house.

You don't have to freeze it; just sit on your hand for a few minutes and it becomes 'The Stranger'.

If Rumsfeld is so stupid, then how did he ever become so successful outside of government?

Skill at sucking up to your superiors, stepping on your subordinates, and posturing as an expert on things you have no real understanding of will take you quite far in corporate America.

I hope Rumsfeld is tortured over his decision.

Do you suppose that Rumsfeld is one of the guys that Gen. Taguba believes ought to be prosecuted for war crimes (new window)?

What?
So now you have to be smart to be corrupt?
The things one can learn on the Internet...

Smooth.

I'm trying to encourage you to follow the lead. Try looking up Gilead Sciences, how it was unusual that Rumsfeld refused to divest himself of a possible conflict of interest. There were other conflicting investments, both with Rumsfeld and throughout the administration that followed a similar pattern.

Gilead sold bird flu vaccine to the Pentagon in 2005

You guys are being robbed in plain sight and no one cares

Indeed, where I grew up, we called it "L'etranger Mongolien" due to the fact it's like being hand-raped by a Mong. Mind you, works fine if you tape your hand into a workable open-palm-fist beforehand.

/Haha, beforehand

Please God we ask you to help Don write a book and then go out on a book tour. And please God make sure that book tour includes mall bookstores where one can get an autographed copy of the book simply by standing in line. Because God, that may be the only chance I ever get to get close enough take a swing at that motherfarker. For these blessing we humbly ask dear God.

Thanks again God

The question is why would Rumsfeld back McCain when McCain was one of the people who thought Rumsfeld should resign.
