Not even a follow-up. It's the exact same link.

It's a different URL. Same item number. I submitted before the auction so we didn't know the sale price at the time.

OlafTheBent: People called Romanae, they go the house?

I love that scene so freaking much.

Each symbol on the die corresponded to a square on a playing board (usually maid in mosaic out of tiles) and there were wagers and bets placed on the square with the symbol the player thought would come up on the die. The bets were mostly made in coins, but sometimes in salt or in rare instances personal heirlooms belonging to a gens (family).

Furious_Chicken 2008-06-15 09:34:05 PM
So, I guess not all Romans were getting laid.

One of the things I remember from my first Latin lessons.

"Agricola est in campo."

There are no words for how cool this is, how happy it makes me, and no way of knowing on how many levels. Suffice it to say it's as awesome as this:

Not if He makes his saving throw, and he is like +10 on saving throws against edged weapons. Dude will be living with like 1HP forever.

Plus he gets his Dad to cast resurrection even if you kill Him. Trust me, don't fark with the Jesus.

About 2500 denarii, or one blonde slave girl, if she can cook.

These days about 16-20 I would think (a lot less for something really nice), but the question doesn't really make sense since the Solidae were introduced in the 4th century.

Always rolls a XX? I always roll a I, but my character would still kick the subby's characters. Who needs an attack roll with Magic Missile!

If I had 18k I would buy it.

And play D&D with it.

That is so awesome.
