Good to see that $500 Wacom and four years of art school didn't go to waste.

neeners 2008-06-15 02:59:43 PM
The disorientated driver was thrown clear of his 4x4 as it somersaulted down the steep cliff and smashed into pieces.

The Mail is there.

And the dog was found up at the top of the cliff. At the top of the 80ft sheer drop? Sounds like the dog knew what was going on and bailed before they went over the cliff. Smart puppy!

That, combined with said image, has made me shoot bourbon out my nose.

Was that reported by John Madden?

So the cliff is a half mile from the nearest road, and the guy drove through 2 fields and a fence to go over it... and they don't think there's anything suspicious about that?

I would hope the hospital is not as clueless as the police dept. and called for a psych eval.

The car sailed ober the cliff and BOOM! hit right here. this guy is going on the horse trailer!

Ltar 2008-06-15 05:03:42 PM
The wreckage isn't on a beach. The arrow shows the car ending up on a beach.

If he had been paying attention, he would have gotten to the end. Travis Pastrana could have made it all the way to the bottom.

or a breathalyzer. could be suicide. could be he was drunk. or fell asleep at the wheel. must done it overnight, then the boat heard his cries when they woke in the morning.

Well, no wonder he drove off the cliff. That big red arrow probably forced him off the road.

Batewoman, the detail you added really creates a chilling image of what happened.

/is that dog smiling?

The wreckage of the man's car. Miraculously he survived with just two broken legs. His only passenger, the man's pet dog, also escaped unhurt

Two broken legs, and it didn't hurt? Wonder if this is somehow connected to driving a half mile off the road and over a cliff before noticing...

Indeed, he is very pleased at having outwitted his owner.

A well placed comma would do wonders for that sentence.

SlothB77: or a breathalyzer. could be suicide. could be he was drunk. or fell asleep at the wheel. must done it overnight, then the boat heard his cries when they woke in the morning.

Probably was down there long enough for his BAC to go down dramatically.

sorry, but this has got to be teh funnahest thing I have ever seen put out by a 'real' news source. WTF is up with that red line?

You forgot to add two black triangles masquerading as sharks in the water next to the boat.

Otherwise - you're hired.

The wreckage of the man's car. Miraculously he survived with just two broken legs.

A car crash and two broken legs is now a miraculous act of God. Praise the Lord.

Also; The phrase "just two broken legs" seems to iomply that if the miracle hadn't occured, the man could have broken 3 or 4 legs.

Also; the dog was uninjured, so God loves him more.

How did the car start it's fall from say, 20-25 feet in the air?

From the article: The cliff edge at Chapman's Pool is about half a mile from the nearest road.

also from the article: "At this stage we are treating it as a road traffic collision. There is nothing suspicious about it."

What?

Either the guy had a seizure and lost consciousnesses or it was a suicide attempt.
