They did mention in the article that she said he raped her first. I would imagine that her current boyfriend had been fed the rape story when he agreed to help her brand the other guy.

People who brand themselves make really stupid choices in life. Unless you're a monk or a veteran, the story behind a brand will always be worse than having it.

Considering she could've had him arrested for a bogus rape charge and more than likely sent to prison under the American court system where you're innocent until proven guilty unless it's a rape charge, he should be thankful that all he got was branded.

I'd imagine that the R stands for "Rapist," then if she was claiming rape to incite her boyfriend to participate.
