I would be the first to call them out on this, but considering the last 8 years have been filled with Bush=Chimp comments, I can't say anything. If they want to run and duck and cover themselves, they have a legitimate reason.

Well, sure, I guess I mean the look no more like chimps than the rest of us in that sense. Yes, I have seen them carry on like that. In fact, when I was young, a buddy of mine worked at the zoo, and the gibbons used to go bonkers a couple of minutes before noon everyday because feeding time was at noon sharp. You could set your watch by it. Pretty funny, except that gibbons are a bunch of noisy farkers.

Upon closer examination Obama does look like a monkey just as much as Bush. He's got the ears, round head, and short hair on top. I have to say, having experience working for a major media company, that I can empathize with this couple. We've had a few misunderstandings blow up into Internet fueled hysteria with mass-email campaigns and phone calls directed at my office (nothing is worse than an offended group of religious fanatics, BTW) so I have some idea of what they're going through.

I believe their explanation and I hope that this at least increases their sales until it blows over. I might buy one just for the hell of it... except their site appears to be crashed due to bandwidth issues. Hope the hate mail hasn't been too bad, but I imagine it's pretty out of control.
