You are correct, sir. Since 9/11 Bush has been the epochal President. The blood of the non-believers has flowed, and shall flow more upon the election of the Prodigal McCain (bow to his name.)

The White House dutifully noted each mistake in the official transcript of Bush's remarks. There was an asterisk in the text next to each wrong word, and then an explanation at the bottom.

No one is busier than the Undersecretary in charge of Correcting Transcripts and Explaining Bushisms?

Actually, Bush is going to be remembered by history more fondly and accurately than the shameful media-driven debacle of the past eight years. For every collection of sound bites they tirelessly pounce on are remarks barely noticed by the Bush haters. Despite your hellbent destruction of this man's character, I believe that much to your chagrin he will be taught to your children as one of America's greatest Presidents, not one of its worst, as your annoyingly constant efforts would have us believe.

I dont know about one of the greatest, but I'd like to think he'd measure with any president FDR or later. Each president has blood on his hands, it's all about how history sees it later. LBJ killed hundreds of thousands and JFK killed tens of thousands, but they are given a shiny make over in retrospect.

And your replies more than prove that America has an unhealthy obsession with the media-driven attacks on the Bush administration.

The truth is that no one has yet found any actual trace of wrongdoing either by Bush or his associates. The fervor to oust Bush was fueled by the 2000 election and the subsequent failure of the liberal movement to contest Bush's win. There is no doubt that this is the root reason for the attacks. Liberals who simply could not accept that their candidate, Al Gore, was soundly defeated.

Soundly defeated: No. BARELY defeated by the outdated Electoral College (and suspected cheating)? Yes. Also, are you denying that Bush started the UNWINNABLE War on Terrorism (Not the war against the people who attacked us on 9/11: Iraq has been shown to have had NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT), has apparently completely forgotten about Osama bin Laden, and has had a major hand in sending the economy into the shiatter?

If so, you have your head so far up your ass, you're in danger of choking on it.

I honestly believe that he's worse than Nixon. LBJ I don't enough about to have a real opinion (I wasn't alive for either, but I know more about Nixon).

Admittedly, English is not my first language and I've wrapped myself around a few bottles of very good beer, but doesn't "measure with any president FDR or later" mean that GWB is expected to be on par with the best presidents since FDR?

And no, 2000 was a landslide election where the Democrats were defeated. But thank you for proving my point as to the birth of the attacks on this administration. Your man lost, and you just couldn't accept it, could you? Must be Bush's fault! Oo! Election Fraud! Even though you can't prove it.

Bush has only recently passed the death toll of JFK, and but there's no way he's going to pass up LBJ. For a point of reference, LBJ escalated Vietnam after JFK was murdered. Remember, LBJ killed hundreds of thousands in Asia and as a bonus he did a number on South America...

Ummm... the various press organizations teamed up and actually counted every vote cast in Florida a bunch of times using the different standards. Every single time, Gore won by at least a hundred votes. Unfortunately, by the time they finished their counting, it was October 2001, and we were in a "post-9/11" mindset. THe New York Times buried the story out of respect.

And it's a farkin' surprise that the lockstep-Republican Congress didn't find anything wrong that King George did? Puh-leeze. If you don't look, you don't find anything!

There's a REASON that Harriet Meirs and Karl Rove won't appear before Congress to answer questions, and a reason that the US Attorney General won't convene a grand jury if Congress files a lawsuit to force them to testify.

How about outing Valarie Plame and her CIA anti-nuclear-proliferation front organization Brewster Jennings? You know, the one that was trying to figure out Iran's nuclear program? I get the impression that the Bushies think the Iranian nuke program is significant somehow. So why would they out them, unless they were finding information that didn't jibe with Bush's thirst for an Iranian strike?

How about politizing the Justice Department (Attorneygate) to the point that 90% of all investigations of politicians are of Democrats, even though most arrests and convictions are of Republicans? How about warrantless wiretapping? How about those mutli-million missing emails? How about using non-partisan government agencies like the General Services Administration to help get Republicans elected? How about torture? How about denial of due process or habeas corpus? How about abusing executive priviledge and national security to try to hide all of the crimes?

Christ, if Clinton had tried a hundrenth of what Bush is pulling his impeachment would have been successfull, and rightfully so!

skookumSaddam Hussein was a dictator that harbored Terror. Bush mentioned in his post-9/11 address that we would no longer tolerate countries that harbored terror and that's exactly what we've done.

in pre-invasion 2003, Bush consciously harbored Al Qaeda and ricin/cyanide labs in the US-patrolled no-fly zone, which he repeatedly blocked the Pentagon from launching air strikes at, because it would make Saddam look good for being the one who actually DIDN'T let terrorists walk around in HIS controlled areas of Iraq. Plus he failed to tell Congress or the US public about it.

Bush willingly let terrorists live and put us in harm's way, and he kept it all a secret just because he thought he would redeem himself by killing Saddam. Don't fellate him dude. You're supporting the terrorists by doing that.
