And every guitarist and bass player and perhaps singer.

Thus the rest of the band can sit it out.

All you need is JPJ and JP at the core of things. Pick the best of the lot to fill the other two stations. WIN.

Can anybody tell me another drummer that would seriously be considered over Baby Bonham should a tour really happen? Dave Grohl might be an option as replacement for Bonham, but who could Page/Plant (let's not pretend Jones has a vote) possibly choose but this kid? Seriously now.

Jason Bonham should legally change his name to "John Bonham's son"

If Led Zeppelin is touring I doubt anything will happen this year. I just got an email that Robert and Alison are going to have tour dates in September. They are filming the shows for a concert DVD.

Also at the show I was at Robert said that this was "chapter one." in long story. The show was sublime BTW. I would have seen it the next day but my wife was coming home after spinal fusion revision surgery. Stupid back.

But where will they find a drummer talented enough to handle all those triplets and 4/4 stylings with the downbeat moved around a bit?!?

I would not even want to see the Zep reunion if it did not include a Bonham. All you "Dave Grohl" and "me" people get a clue. I mean, I could record myself playing drums over Zep songs and say hey... I CAN DO this. However, it is way more than just this. Especially to Zeppelin. There is a serious and almost...if you will... mystical chemistry that happens between these 4 individuals. While the chemistry may not be exactly the same w/out John Bonham, at least we'll have part of the DNA correct with Jason.

Jason Bonham: "I would do a Led Zeppelin tour in a heartbeat." In other news, so would every other drummer in the world..

That's true. However, Jason's the only one who could pull it off without having volleys of crap thrown at him by the audience, and a host of sardonic reviews in the press.

/To all you young'uns out there, get yourself a copy of The Disregard of Timekeeping. Jason's every bit as good as his dad was and is just as enjoyable to listen to. All you have to do is hear the title track.
