Stupid subby. You need to warn people this is a Xeni Jardin story.

It's like (NSFW), but (XENI).

This is a follow-up, I suppose, as last time there wasn't a clip with the story, I don't think. Pretty interesting, more so than a lot of stuff like this, anyway.

Still want to hear more about this alleged collaboration with Brian Eno which is rumored to include live shows. On his own, I haven't had much interest in seeing Byrne live in a very long time, but if true, this would be another story entirely, from my standpoint at least.

The whole idea is AWESOME. It could transport someone completely outside their space into a whole new world of possibilities.

Nice job, David.

I want SO BADLY to swing by South Street and play that building while the exhibit's open. It's gotta be worth a day off.

Kudos, David. This sounds amazing.

It's his building and you can't play with it.

I think you are wrong. He says people were awed when they could touch a key and see what it was doing to make the sound...not a quote. But thats just how I read it.Pretty cool If you ask me.

I think that this is an ingenious idea and when he talks about how he loves to see how things work is very true and is an inherent desire in all of us. I would love to go and see this installation.

Good idea that could of been implemented a lot better. The clanky noises just don't do it for me.

DeerNuts 2008-06-13 05:20:00 PM
A ten minute video and they didn't think of asking to, oh I don't know, actually PLAY the farking thing?

Anyone happen to have a link to someone actually doing something with it?

It looks like, at any moment, Xeni's going to rip off her clothes and scream to David Byrne "TAKE ME BIG STUD"!
