Obama, who was sipping from a bottle of water, seemed to almost do a spit-take at the absurdity of the suggestion.

The whole video is interesting, but the question is asked 6 mins in.

That's pretty funny.

That was well worth the wait. The expression on Obama is priceless.

I think it would be an excellent idea to send Bush to Iraq. Bringing him back, though? Not so much.

That would have been so much more awesome if he had actually spit it out.

mamoru: Can we send him to Iraq as an enlisted soldier instead? Please??

No, because he'll just end up doing something stupid, getting his entire unit killed while he stands there and shrugs at the camera.

Besides, wasn't that a TV series in the 50s or 60s?

Not that asking Farkers to be rational for a second will ever work, but I'll try.

What do you see President Bush doing after the innauguration of Obama or McCain? Also please no jokes about the Hague or Iraq. I'm genuinely interested in what he has planned for the future.

I'll start by saying I'd guess he's going to be attending a significant number of Texas Rangers baseball games. I'd also guess that he's going to be a spokesman for Africa sort of how Bono is now. Bush has quietly spent a ton of money on programs & projects in Africa, and seems to genuinely care about the poor and downtrodden people of that Continent.

Let me just say that I'd hate to be a piece of brush anywhere near his ranch.

But even Nixon would go to Golf tournaments and stuff. Plus El Nixon didn't have to deal with citizen journalists and farkers. I'd love video of Jorge squeezing melons at Whole foods to get posted online.

In all seriousness, this.

Dude...I'm not asking what you want to happen to W, I want to know what Farkers think will happen. If it was a question of want, I'd want to see him fall on his sword, or accept self exile but I know that none of that will happen since I don't live in the magical fantasy land of flying puppies and unicorn faeries.

I think he goes back to Texas and is basically never heard from again. I think he will never leave the country again, since he'll be at risk of arrest.

I doubt that there's any true risk of arrest/international war crimes trial, etc. You don't want to run the risk of setting precedent for arresting heads of state for important countries. It only applies when you're a shiatty 3rd world despot

You think Bush is gonna run the risk? Especially since who the hell knows what might come out after he leaves office.

And we've put leaders of major countries on trial for war crimes before, though mostly related to WWII.

Also, the French put their own leader on trial and convicted him.

Well, of course its different, but when was the last time a leader of a country so blatantly lied and committed war crimes as the head of a state? Milosovic? There's no good parallel.

The Russian occupation of Afghanistan is a better analogy.
