One of my cats is named "Zinger", a successor to my previous cat "Schrödinger", the source of which should be obvious to any science nerds.

The other cat is named "Moose". I named him that because he's big, and likes to ram his head into things.

My pets are all called Eric. Eric the cat, Eric the fruit bat, Eric the half bee, and so forth. I expect I'll vote for Obama, because Barack sounds the most like Eric. But I don't think there's any connection there.

Xena, Gabbie and Noire. The dog is named Missy, but she came with that monicker.

Xena is a gray tabby Maine Coon Cat, Gabbie is an orange-&-black tortoise shell, Noire is a black cat (obviously).

The three cats before them were all named "Kitty". I'm not much on naming something that doesn't respond to anything except "kitty food?" The dog prior was "Alia", but more often "stupid biatch".

Awesome... thats why I always get black kitties... the adoption place that takes over a room at our Petco said they practically have to give away black cats, no one will take them, and they wont let anyone adopt them 2 weeks before Halloween, out of fear someone will do something to them.
Adoption place also told me that more black cats get put down than other cats. Because of superstition, no one wants them.

Got two rabbits, one named Buddha, one named Jack. I guess Buddha could be derogatory. My sister also used to have a handful of fish with names like Hitler, Castro, Stalin, Ayatollah Khomeini, Mao, etc. All pretty derogatory, I suppose, but we're both voting for Obama.
