Even Republicans can't swallow their own bullshiat anymore.

Nice headline.

It's funny...the more we hear from McCain, the more I wonder if Huckabee wouldn't have been a more palatable choice for the GOP. Dude loves him some Jesus, but I can't imagine him being any more crazy than McCain. Bonus: He seems to be a decent guy.

Well except for releasing Wayne Dumond from prison since all he did was rape a Clinton. Nevermind the fact that he raped and killed two more women immediately after he was released, because Huckabee's a nice guy after all.

No, I know, this isn't news to me... I'm just saying if the Repulicans had a shot at winning this election, I would almost be more comfortable with the idea of Huckabee in office than McCain. "Tragic mistake" for some reason, I can forgive more quickly than willful ignorance.

Seriously, though, I'm mostly just musing here...this isn't a long-held political opinion of mine.

GAT_00 [TotalFark] 2008-06-08 12:04:26 AM
That can't be true. God never intended you to save people that he wanted to die through choking.

he should be the VP then because McCain might get choked on his jell-o

The Heimlich Manoeuvre was out around the same time as using leeches to remove evil spirits. People watch too much TV.

Maybe I'm missing something here smitty...

Mike Huckabee led the most impressive campaign on the Republican side, in my opinion. He began as a virtual unknown with next to no campaign staff or money and ended up becoming a major contended for the Republican nomination. I'd say, in light of the circumstances, that he ran a pretty good campaign. This is especially true when you consider he was going agaisnt big names (Guiliani, McCain, Thomson) and big money (Romney).

And I'm not nor was I ever a Huckabee supporter.

Was he choking on some squirrel cooked in a popcorn popper? Wouldn't want him as a president, but that was a damn fine thing to do. (If it wasn't all a P.R. stunt)

While the Heimlich maneuver does in fact work, the 'inventor' seems to be a complete quack.

Huckabee and hero should never be in the same sentence. Well, maybe if it includes "hero shoots Huckabee in face"

Then I'd die of dehydration from my never-ending ejaculation.

McCain is fine. I remember him when he first ran for Senator in AZ when I lived there. He did a lot of good, and from a Lieberman standpoint, that is, not always toe the party line.

But he has the experience that O guy doesn't. And not the "hate America" like the others. Am I stumping for him? No one will ever know until election day. I LIKE Obama because I would like to see more people closer to my age to set policy for the rest, instead of us having a social security failure in place.

Huckabee would be the Anti-Christ if he wasn't struggling with such a horrid name.

How else would he be able to birth a family of pig-human hybrids? Link (new window)

Or father an incipient serial killer? Link (new window)

Mike Huckabee was a serious nominee. Ron Paul was an internet meme. And as big a scumbag as Huckabee is, Ron Paul's worse.

Maybe by raping a Clinton, the guy saved the lives of 100s. Let's be honest. The Clintons are not in the same level as the Kennedys, but they have killed quite a few people in their day.

/The idea that he let someone out because of the victim being a Clinton is absurd. Bad sheep! No water!

Ron Paul is way to comfortable around Nazis for my liking. And if he represents the average deranged TFer, no thanks. Seriously. You guys suck and are best kept in your mom's basements.

Huckabee always did seem to be a real Christian, and a pretty nice guy. But he did express an interest in rewriting the Constitution, and putting God's law first.

Clearly the morons that support somebody make the man. Not that I didn't already realize it when I worked my ass off in Iowa and South Carolina for Ron Paul, but it's really a coffin nail for the republic that people against the war think Obama is their answer.

Huckabee is a religious nutbag who wants to replace the constitution with the bible. He isn't coy about it, he spells it right out in his speeches. Try googling him or at least reading his wiki before endorsing him.
