Throughout the entire fall? Now that's impressive.

I feel so, just......rubbery today.....I have no idea why. Will I need 4 or 6 wheels now? And can I have lights on them too?

She didn't fall out???

kidsizedcoffin 2008-06-08 05:43:53 AM
Maybe her chair had a seatbelt? Or maybe she was heavy enough that she needed butter to squeeze out of the chair?

Rosalind Shays would comment but she got the shaft.

Remember when Handi-man would fall out the window? It was probably like that.

Why does this remind me of Silent Hill 3 with the wheelchair by the elevator, with the wheel spinning when you walk in?

/still creeps me out

Diametric 2008-06-08 06:21:58 AM
So, she tried to catch the elevator but was too slow, so the doors closed. Then she crashed into the elevator doors. Then the elevator doors opened. And then she drove into the open shaft... WTF?

Obviously, the doors shouldn't have opened (she's gonna make a fortune on that lawsuit). But damn, she just had have been drunk out of her mind...

Sorry, no sympathy.

Not obscure at all. It's the first thing I thought of.

"A woman in a wheelchair fell 30 feet down an elevator shaft in an Atlantic City casino. If you can't win the regular jackpot, go for the legal jackpot"

Oh like you've never been that drunk? You're not the one who gets loaded and runs over pedestrians at the shopping mall are you?

Whats that have to do with being in a wheelchair? I'm perfectly capable of getting drunk and running down pedestrians at the shopping mall, school zones, and soccer fields.

Me too. But in a car it's not a sport. In a wheelchair, you can keep score. Fridays can be League Night.

I was not aware Atlantic City casinos had amusement park rides.

Rodeodoc 2008-06-08 08:16:52 AM
So as she was falling, did she try pulling on the brakes? Not that it would have helped, but it would be funny to see her spinning the wheels backward to try to stop, Wile E. Coyote style.

/I'll take the bus

powhound 2008-06-08 08:28:02 AM
Sounds like the elevator inspector guy is related to that crane inspector guy...the one taking the bribes. Brother, the thing tried to kill three people. Maybe it's a new Stephen King book idea?

That's one way to win big $ at the casinos.

puppypants 2008-06-08 02:11:28 PM
Um was I the only one to look at ALL the pictures? That was one of those rent-a-chair wheel chairs that the fattys use so they don't have to walk.

The big "RENT ME" sign on the front of the chair gives it away.

phartman 2008-06-08 02:41:30 PM
I'm so pleased to see that the woman is investing her money wisely, considering her affliction. I don't wish that on anybody, but I think her money is more wisely spent than at AC.

simpsonfan 2008-06-08 06:51:03 PM
We are forgetting the most important thing: Was the wheelchair damaged?

Rattrap007 2008-06-08 07:06:24 PM
That shaft is on bad mother----

Lynoitus: I scoff at your headline, Subby. I claimed this joke already!

Wheelchair-bound woman survives after tree falls on her house. However, doctors say she'll never walk again

You weren't the first to make that joke, so scoff all you like. I only have expected it to go green because it's so milked. It was edited to be a little bit easier to read, so I can't really take much credit.

I'd have liked top say something about her not walking again, but her wheelchair looks like one of those things obese people ride. She can probably walk fine to the fridge.
