Shame there's not many black people out there or there would be great outrage about how our current President is failing them by somehow not parting the floodwaters to deliver them free money. Meanwhile in reality when whitey gets flooded, it barely makes a peep in the news media. God bless America.

I just came to work on 65 North in Indianapolis it was fine. They have the whole southbound lane closed down and all the exits are coned off or guarded by police. I saw a subdivision that was being evacuated by the fire department with a boat going house to house.

Video looks like a spillway to me. Lack of trees in the path of the water until right around the waterfall area with no visible debris caught in those trees that are in the spillway path means it was deforested. Nice waterfall though!

Me either. No use following the smell of Elderberries ...

methinks he meant Camp Atterbury in Edinburgh.

Anyone getting a before shot now from google earth?
Because when they update it, it's going to look different.

And now on WTHR, David Letterman with the weather.

It's true that David Letterman did the weather in the 70s for WTHR before he did Late Night.

I'm in Columbus and live right next to a river. This pic and video is of an hour ago. It's now at least 10 feet closer to the house now. The place where my dad and dog are standing is about a foot under by now.

My house is 200+ years old and the water's never touched the house, so I'm not worried about safety. But there's a good chance I'll be marooned for a couple days.

Johnson County has Franklin. Columbus (where I am) is in Bartholomew County, also heavily flooded. Camp Atterbury is mostly in Bartholomew County. Martinsville is Morgan County.

Yup, it all is. Camp Atterbury is there, so are those two towns you named. I have to drive 40 minutes south now to Sweetwater (by Princes Lake - one of the '18' they mention) to check on my parent's house and boat. Damnit.

I am from Johnson County - the storms were impressive last night. Lasted from 9:30pm to around 1pm today. And the fact that we had a tornado in Indy LAST Friday while I was at a party (drunk and wading in high water on the streets looking for FEMA) makes central Indiana a big bundle of fun right now.

Hwy 70 and some major ones down south are flooded out.

wish me luck!

Best of luck to the fellow Hoosiers out there. I return back home in a month.

I was stuck in this for most of the day. Turned around after they shut down another chunk, and was glad, since water was almost on 70 as we drove back.

Funk Brothers: And now on WTHR, David Letterman with the weather. It's true that David Letterman did the weather in the 70s for WTHR before he did Late Night.

He also did a stint on The Starlight Vocal Band's short-lived show circa-1976. (go ahead and sing it! "Skyrockets in flight!!!" Mwuu-haaaa-haaaa-haaaaaaa!!!) I remember them saying a few years ago that they wrote Dave and said they don't use it on their resume either.

Dave's also a Ball State grad like me! Woot!

Serves them right for living in an area that natural disasters could potentially occur. These people don't deserve federal aid for living in such a dangerous place.
