she made a very public hint of her availability for the No. 2 slot

That's what Obama needs: a Vice President who believes she should be President, with the added bonus of having Bill Clinton wagging his pussy-ready finger at everyone whenever someone says something mean about his wife. It'd be a big, stupid mistake, akin to a family of lemurs inviting a boa constrictor over for dinner. (from the Rude Pundit (pop))

I'm thinking he meant to mimick that chant "hey, hey! ho, ho!"

I like it this way better, though.

Ho

You think they'll change it? That'd be awesome if they didn't.

It's probably just dawning on them now, and they're having some earnest conversation about whether or not to change it...

Good catch smitty.

If that in any way goes through, heads probably should roll. Either Howard Kurtz is really pissed and so are the editors, or there are a bunch of very clueless people walking around the Washington Post offices.

This'll make Hillaryis44 even more entertaining than it already is!

Hillaryis44...

She will endorse him and campaign for him but only because she needs AA support for 2012! He'll lose in November! If Hillary believes being on the ticket will help in 2012, for her own sake we have to vote against it.

Ok, so let me get this straight: Hillary wants to be Obama's VP because that when he loses to McCain, that will put her in a position of strength in 2012? So all good Hillary fans should vote against her if she the Veep candidate? For her sake?

I think at this point the core Hillaryis44 posters are being exposed as the Republicans they were all along.

I looked at the headline, then read the article. I read all the comments to make sure I was reading the right headline. I still didn't get what was "offensive" about the song based headline.

I then asked a more "worldly" colleague who sagely explained.

I feel so stupid.

I think Howard Kurtz is a hero for saying this. We need to award him with the honorary title of a Kentucky Colonel. Colonel Kurtz, I like the sound of that.

That is one of the awesomest things I've seen. Seldom do you see a headline in the Wash. Post that would be completely in place as a NY Post cover.
