Don't forget Daryl Stuermer on guitar. I very under-rated guitarist, if you ask me.

And still has the chops, if you heard him on the last Genesis tour.

aw, I was just watching this video the other day. and yeah, I love her voice too. makes me wonder what would have happened had ABBA stayed together and made it into the mid 80s.

Shiat... don't remember the video at all, but after hearing the beginning of the song, I remember the song. What can I say it was the early 80's, and I was in DOUBLE PLUS PRIME partying mode.

That would have been nice. I never owned any of the albums, but I must admit that I liked their music. I saw Mama Mia, have the soundtrack and can't wait for the movie.

I remember the video and love the song. Now I will be depressed about my age for the rest of the day

I never knew (or at least forgot) who did that song, but hearing it now while aware of the parties involved it is so obvious.

LOVE this song - thanks for posting it!

Thanks to this song I'm going to find a black armband and mourn the death of decent music production. Hell, on the way to work today I listened to Ina-Godda-Da-Vida from start to finish on Sirius Buzzsaw and can't get over the use of dynamics.

I wore out the 45 of this back in the day.

/my lawn, kindly remove yourself from it

I remember the song but never knew it was Phil on drums. Which as a Genesis fan, I should have. Takes about 2 beats before it becomes glaringly clear that it is him on drums.

Nothing with Phil Collins is 'good'.

Because it's Phil Collins.

You're a tard.

I saw Phil Collins sit in on drums with Eric Clapton on one of his tours and he was unbelievable. His signature drum rhythm style added so much to Clapton songs I'd heard a thousand times. Also, Phil Collins' early stuff and his stuff with Genesis rocked.

I repeat...you're a tard.

Collins is a farkin' douchebag, but he's a helluva good percussionist.

Crocodile: Collins is a farkin' douchebag

I hear this often but I'm never given an explanation as to why other than "he makes music I don't like".

I love this song.. Someone re-made it recently, but the original is still the best.
/also didnt know Phil was the drummer
//agree with the Crocodiles comment, Collins dos seem like a douche, but the man is a really good percussionist.
//This and Invincible from Pat Benetar, my fav songs

Cool song...I just happened to hear it on XM the other day. Didn't remember Frida or know about the ABBA connection.

Cue the "Last Video" (pops) if you haven't seen it. It's wonderful.

Well, that was well presented. You have changed my mind, kind sir. Thank you for enlightening me through your awesome use of the word 'tard'.

Classic. Thanks for posting that.

For those interested in a more, well, interesting ABBA cover, you should check out Tad Morose doing Knowing Me, Knowing You. It's a bonus track on the Modus Vivendi album.

I haven't looked at the album for a while, but I believe Russ Ballard wrote the song and he was always reliable for a good tune. The rest of the album is mediocre overall but Phil did a solid job producing and he does remain one the best percussionists in the rock era. I have always loved this song.

"Great!"

"Great sandwich!"

/from the "Billie Don't Lose My Number" video when Daryl Stuermer's name came up with the producer and Phil.

I had a Daryl Stuermer pick from Genesis that they gave me at his music store in Wisconsin for playing the opening to "Kyoto Rose" on a Steinberger while passing through. The music store guys were impressed that somebody actually learned something off Daryl's solo album, "Stepping Out."

I could only play the intro, but it was enough for a free "Genesis" guitar pick--which I've since lost!

Or if they actually reunited? They turned down a BILLION dollars! Talk about integrity...
