Yes, I always liked "Sweet Jane"

Brian May was more than a bonus on that - he carried it. And WTF was Joe Elliott doing singing over Ian? Let the guy sing the first verse, you sing the second verse - not rocket science, Joe.

Thanks for posting, subby.

My reaction exactly. Shut the hell up and let the legend sing - and you can jump in there when he lets you sing his song. Jeez.

And MAY! Best astrophysicist shredding I've seen all week coupled with a 65 year old geezer singing seminal rock and roll.

Cleveland Rocks

Was that Ian Hunter solo?

The reason the song was great in the first place:

It's like cereal without milk, the song needs that farking crazy sax.

His solo work from 1975-1980 is outstanding.

Best song with Mott..."Death May Be Your Santa Claus"

Best song solo..."Once Bitten Twice Shy"

Although I really like alot off of his latest album, Shrunken Heads.

And "Woman's Intuition" off of YUIOughta is good.

Hunter rocks...and he's the same age as my dad.

Did they have any other good songs

I've always been partial to "Saturday Gigs" and "Roll Away The Stone" as well. That whole greatest hits album is a great thing.

I think maybe someone should have been in control of the mic levels. As is, Joe and Ian are very good friends. Joe is a huge, huge fan of Ian, recording two of his songs by my count, with DL. -Golden Age of Rock and Roll (Ian opens the song), and Who Do You Love?

Curly haired man, with the curly lead guitar was great.

Took them about 3 minutes to find the groove, but it was fun to watch.

Brian May is, and will always be, God. Not *A* god....THE God. Period.
