Good, I hate the damn things.

Tip to new homeowners in California, or anywhere that the little bastards nest:

DO NOT LET THEM COMPLETE A NEST. Once they've finished a nest it's illegal for you to destroy it if they're living in it. What does this mean? It means that if they complete a nest, and lay eggs in it, and hatch little demonspawn swallow chicks... they're coming back next year. Not only that, but they're bringing their friends. A lot of them.

If you have to take a high-powered hose to the eaves of your roof every day during swallow nesting season, it's worth it.

Had the swallows completed rigor mortis and the same time, as if there they were, standing in a row?
And how big were they? Big? Small? As big as my head?

Who will love a little sparrow?
Will no one write her eulogy?
I will, said the earth,
For all Ive created returns unto me,
From dust were ye made and dust ye shall be.

hetheeme: Ah yeah they could carry it on a line or grip it by the husk

...its not a question of where he grips it, its a simple matter of weight ratios...
