Thats because, in your view simply applying the label of illogic without making any points or making the same points over and over
again is good enough.

The conversation had been going in circles. It is still my view that stripping a state of its delegates and participation rights is a nuclear option that should never be employed. Not now, not in the future. I would bet, regardless of the outcome of this committee, and the nomination - that the DNC will come up with a new method of enforcement as they should.

Sadly, the raving supporters would rather win the nomination without the voice of 2 nationally important swing states, and hope for the best or stake our chances in November by relying on so called roads to victory that have never actually been demonstrated.

captain_napalm: fair? HAHAHAHA. fair to whom and based on what? votes from other states? PC pandering?

Everybody's calling you a troll, but what the heck, I haven't tried talking to you yet.

Since you use the word fair, do you think you can honestly come up with a proposal that's fair? Not what you want, or what'll help Hillary, but would be objectively fair. What would someone who has absolutely no emotional, historial or political investment in this entire issue (say, an academic from another country who's studied our system) say would be actually fair?

Just a little experiment to see what you're response is. I'm expecting a baseless, crazy reaction with a "HAHAHAHAHA" thrown in their somewhere, but who knows, I might be surprised.

I'm no longer certain, in all honesty, that Hillary Clinton will be better than Bushiatruly mean that, it's not me trolling or just hating on Clinton. Everything I've seen her do lately makes me terribly frightened of the thought of her with Executive Authority.

either:

(A) award them properly, according to the final vote and the "weighted" nonsense formula y'all use everywhere

-or-

(B) option (A) x 0.5/0.75/0.7, some sort of agreed-upon metric.

-or-

(C) toss them all

Probably true. Nobody ever expected a sociopath like Hillary to run for office. The DNC assumed that the insane people wouldn't actually GET this far and the rules reflected that bias.

Sadly, the raving supporters would rather win the nomination without the voice of 2 nationally important swing states, and hope for the best or stake our chances in November by relying on so called roads to victory that have never actually been demonstrated.

So if I stuff the ballot box in favor of my pet candidate, does that election still count?

Weaver95: It's not often we burn out a thread like that. Methinks this issue is near and dear to a lot of us.

Yes, we have quite a few unfortunate FAS windowlickers who are REALLY concerned that their votes are being stolen. "Rules? What rules? So she agreed to the rules, SOOOO? HE JUST DIDN'T WANT TO COMPETE." God I wish I could stomp my feet and leave the party and find one that doesn't depend on a base that doesn't understand how to follow directions. I had to push the button ALL THE WAY DOWN? Gore was the OTHER BUTTON? What do you mean this election doesn't count, YOU'RE STEALING MY VOTE!

Raiden333 [TotalFark] 2008-05-31 05:20:23 PM
Oh, I am so voting out Boxer now. WTF? Quoting the bible?

captain_napalm 2008-05-31 05:20:28 PM
like I said earlier, if Obama was smart (and he's not), he'd give hillary everything she wants and remove her basis for further complaining. and if y'all were smart (and you're not), you'd champion that course of action.

as it stands, she won't get all she wants, and will use that as a rallying cry.

well you didn't really think that they were going to discuss any of this in open view of us little people, did you?

They'll cut a deal, snort some coke, sacrifice Chelsea to a Greater Daemon of Khorne and split the delegates evenly between Obama and Hillary.

And on we go to the convention....

I don't much care where you come from. What your religion is. Whether you're black, white, or some other color...male or female...... Democrat, Republican or Independent. ...... But I do care when you are a United States Senator representing Citizens of America ....and Vote against English as the official language of the United States

Your vote reflects Betrayal.
Political Surrender. Violates Your Pledge of Allegiance. Dishonors historical principle. Rejects Patriotism. Borders on traitorous action and, in my opinion, makes you unfit to serve as a United States Senator... Impeachment... Recall... Or other appropriate action is warranted or worse.

Four of you voting against English as America 's Official Language are Presidential Candidates: Senator Biden,Senator Clinton,Senator Dodd, and Senator Obama.

Four Senators vying to lead America, but won't or Don't have t! he courage to cast a vote in favor of 'English' as A merica 's Official Language when 91% of American Citizens want English officially designated as our language.

This is the second time in the last several months this list of Senators have disgraced themselves as 'political Hacks'..... Unworthy as Senators and certainly unqualified to serve as President of the United States

If America is as angry as I am, you wil! l realize a backlash so stunning it will literally 'rock you out of your panties'.... ..... And preferably totally out of the United States Senate.

The entire immigration bill is a farce... Your action only confirms this really isn't about America ....it is about self-serving politics.... ..despicable at best.

I hadn't heard any accusation of vote stuffing until now. It is pointless to over complicate an already complicated issue.

Nobody ever expected a sociopath like

Aren't you supposed to be a supporter of the candidate that says its ok to disagree without being disagreeable?
