I love the Clash (RIP Joe Strummer), but Topper's heavy drug use was the beginning of the end for the group. His heroin habit ruined his drumming skills at the time.

/Lost in the supermarket is one of the best Clash songs ever!

I'd say he was better (and very underrated) compared to a lot of drummers in rock. Listen to their live stuff, he gets it consistently perfect.

On YouTube last time I checked--this show featured "Magnificent Seven" and the first ever performance of "Radio Clash".

Yep. Me too. Tom's show was one of the best, IMO. Even when I didn't give a crap about the guest that was on, he made it interesting.
